Schaefferstown’s Cherry Fair, a local celebration that dates back hundreds of years, is nearly here again.

The Traditional Cherry Fair & Early American Craft Show will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, at the Alexander Schaeffer Farm, 213 S. Carpenter St. General admission is $5 but children 12 and under will be admitted for free. Plenty of parking will be available, but pets are not permitted.

Historic Schaefferstown Incorporated (HSI) will host the rain-or-shine event, which stems from area traditions dating back to the 1700s. The fair features various skilled artisans, farm animals, a BBQ food truck, desserts, games, and other entertainment.
