Lebanon
Retail Theft – Police cited a 44-year-old South Lebanon Township man with retail theft after investigation into an incident that occurred at 4:10 p.m. May 24 on the 800 block of South 12th Street. He is accused of stealing merchandise worth $134.96.
Public Drunkenness – Police cited a 44-year-old Lebanon man with public drunkenness at 10:22 a.m. Aug. 1 on the 500 block of East Weidman Street.
Drug Possession – Police cited a 40-year-old Lebanon woman with possession of drug paraphernalia at 5 p.m. July 29 on North 7th and Guilford streets.
Disorderly Conduct – Police cited a 36-year-old West Lebanon Township man with disorderly conduct at 7:40 p.m. Aug. 4 on the 500 block of North 8th Street.
Public Drunkenness – Police cited a 63-year-old Lebanon man with public drunkenness at 1:57 a.m. Aug. 7 on Gannon and Willow streets.
Drug Possession – Police cited a 67-year-old Annville man with possession of drug paraphernalia at 4:38 p.m. July 20 on the 00 block of South Gannon Street.
Public Drunkenness, Disorderly Conduct – Police cited a 24-year-old Lebanon man with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct at 2:44 a.m. July 11 on the 300 block of Church Street.
Drug Possession – Police cited a 39-year-old woman with no permanent address with possession of drug paraphernalia at 5:24 p.m. June 2 on the 200 block of South 4th Street.
Public Drunkenness – Police cited a 28-year-old Lebanon man with public drunkenness at 3:25 a.m. Aug. 4 on the 100 block of Schneider Drive.
Harassment, Disorderly Conduct – Police cited a 39-year-old Myerstown man with harassment and disorderly conduct after investigation into an incident that occurred at 1:59 p.m. May 28 on the 200 block of South 4th Street.
Criminal Mischief – Police cited a 44-year-old Lebanon man with criminal mischief after an incident at 10:13 p.m. Aug. 12 on the 1100 block of Mifflin Street. He is alleged to have caused $249.10 of damage to another person’s property.
Harassment – Police cited a 65-year-old Lebanon man with harassment at 3:38 p.m. Aug. 6 on the 400 block of Elm Street.
DUI, Careless Driving – Police cited Carlos Gonzalez, 44, of Lebanon, with driving while under the influence of alcohol and careless driving after a traffic stop at 3:37 a.m. July 30 on South 10th and Elm streets. Police allege his BAC was .198% at the time of the stop.
Theft – Police cited Benjamin Florin, 44, of Lebanon, with theft after he was accused of taking property that did not belong to him at 9:16 a.m. July 29 on the 1200 block of Bitner Boulevard. Total loss to the owner of the property was estimated to be $500.
Drug Possession – Police cited Roy Ostrum, 67, of Annville, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police assisted Lebanon County Probation Officers at 1:57 p.m. July 24 on South 8th and Walton streets.
Accidents Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle, Following Too Closely – Police cited Jason Weible, 36, of Lebanon, with accidents involving damage to attended vehicle and following too closely after a minor traffic accident at 10:51 p.m. July 15 on the 1100 block of Lehman Street. Police allege Weible did not remain at the scene of the accident as required.
Harassment – Police cited a 33-year-old Lebanon woman with harassment after an incident at 2:45 p.m. July 27 on the 00 block of East Lehman Street.
Criminal Trespass – Police cited a 44-year-old man with no permanent address with criminal trespass at 8:42 a.m. July 29 on the 1300 block of Cumberland Street.
Bethel Township
Theft – At 6 p.m. Aug. 10, police responded to Speedway Drive for a report of a stolen trailer. The victim was a 53-year-old Jonestown man. The stolen property included a maroon/burgundy and white XHR4551 2008 Salem mobile home trailer. Police are investigating.
East Hanover Township
Vehicle Accident, Financial Responsibility Required, Vehicle Turning Left – At 6:08 a.m. Aug. 21, a two-vehicle crash occurred when a 2014 Kia Sportage driven by a 58-year-old Mechanicsburg woman turned left onto Hilltop Road in front of a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 40-year-old Palmyra woman, accompanied by a 46-year-old Annville man. The Chevrolet struck the rear of the Kia, which spun around from the impact. All occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. The Mechanisburg woman and the Palmyra woman sustained no injuries as a result of the crash, while the Annville man sustained suspected minor head injuries. H&S Towing towed both vehicles from the scene. Ono Fire and Northern Lebanon Emergency Services also assisted on the scene. Police cited the Mechanicsburg woman with financial responsibility required, vehicle turning left, and changed lanes without safety.
Heidelberg Township
Vehicle Accident, Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic – At 2:44 p.m. Aug. 20, a single-vehicle crash occurred on West Reistville Road when a 2011 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 45-year-old Newmanstown man was traveling east on West Reistville Road, west of SR 501 when, at a curve in the road, the Hyundai exited the right travel lane, drove onto a grassy shoulder and struck a tree on the east shoulder, sustaining heavy front-end damage. CJ Wagner’s towed the Hyundai from the scene. The Newmanstown man was wearing his seatbelt and sustained suspected minor injuries. Police cited him with driving on roadways laned for traffic.
Jackson Township
Harassment – At approximately 9:30 a.m. Aug. 21, police responded to Stone Ridge Poplar Run, at 440 E. Lincoln Ave., for a patient. The victim, a 91-year-old Myerstown woman, said that at 7 a.m. Aug. 19, a tall white man shoved her into a wall, causing a very small bruise on her forehead. Police determined that the victim suffers from severe Alzheimer’s disease, dementia with behavior issues, cognitive-communication disorder, and anxiety. The victim also has a history of self-abuse during mental lapses. Police are investigating.
Myerstown Borough
Theft of Motor Vehicle – At approximately 11:57 a.m. Aug. 21, police responded to the 200 block of South Cherry Street for a stolen vehicle. Police determined that this crime occurred sometime between 11 p.m. Aug. 20 and approximately 11:30 a.m. Aug. 21, as an unknown actor(s) arrived at the location and stole the victim’s vehicle. The victim was a 47-year-old Myerstown man. The vehicle is described as a light blue 2008 Kia Rio 5 with PA Registration: LSL6225. North Cornwall Township
Unlawfully Owning a Vicious Exotic Animal as a Pet – At 11:40 a.m. Aug. 22, police got a call regarding two missing/stolen alligators in the 300 block of Royal Road, which have been missing since Aug. 20. Police cited a Lebanon woman with unlawfully owning a vicious exotic animal as a pet. Theft, Unlawful Taking – At 3:50 p.m. Aug. 4, this incident occurred at Speedway. Police cited a 21-year-old Lebanon woman with theft and unlawful taking after she unlawfully took $219.90 in cash while she was employed at the business.
North Lebanon Township
Burglary, Conspiracy Burglary, Theft, Conspiracy Theft, Prowling – Police cited Hunter Briel, 21, of Lebanon, with burglary after stealing four puppies from inside of a barn on the 2500 block of Long Lane on Aug. 19. Police also cited Briel with conspiracy burglary, theft, conspiracy theft, and prowling.
North Londonderry Township
DUI – At 12:10 a.m. Aug. 11, police cited Donald Harling, 58, of Enola, with driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance for his involvement in an incident that occurred on North Forge and Palmyra Bellegrove roads. Police arrested Harling for suspicion of DUI during an investigation that stemmed from a traffic stop for a broken taillight.
Disorderly Conduct – At 10:54 p.m. July 24, police cited a Palmyra juvenile with disorderly conduct after he was found placing water bottles on the road for traffic to run the bottles over. This incident occurred on South Lingle Avenue and Pajabon Drive. A nontraffic citation was filed with MDJ Garver’s office.
Palmyra Borough
Bench Warrant, DUI – At approximately 3:17 a.m. Aug. 20, police observed a vehicle parked in the middle of the 00 block of North Penn Street and identified the driver as Kiersten Kearney, 30, who has an active bench warrant out of Lancaster County for a DUI-highest rate. Police took Kearney into custody and transferred her to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.
Arrest Warrant, Materially False Written Statement – At approximately 2:58 a.m. Aug. 19, police observed a wanted subject on the 100 block of East Main Street and identified him as Michael Ream, 33, who was known to police to have an active arrest warrant out of Northwest Regional Police Department for materially false written statement-purchase, delivery, and transfer of a firearm. Police took Ream into custody and transferred him to the Northwest Regional Police Department to be arraigned.
Drug Possession, Restriction on Alcoholic Beverage – At approximately 9:09 a.m. June 25, police conducted a traffic stop on a black Ford sedan with PA registration LLY6942, which had an expired registration. Police found the driver, Paul Calloway Jr., 38, in possession of a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and an open container of alcohol. Police also determined that the inspection and emission stickers on the vehicle were fraudulent and seized them. Police cited Calloway with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, restriction on alcoholic beverage, and seven additional summary charges. Charges were filed through the MDJ’s office on Aug. 13.
Disorderly Conduct – At approximately 11:25 p.m. Aug. 6, police responded to the 200 block of West Cherry Street for a reported disturbance and observed the subject, identified as Malinda Rivera, 46, outside yelling very loudly. Police warned Rivera several times to cease yelling, but she continued to yell and cause a disturbance. Police arrested her, charged her with one count of disorderly conduct, and took her to LCCB to await arraignment.
Criminal Mischief – At approximately 1 p.m. Dec. 10, police were detailed to vandalism on the 600 block of West Main Street. On scene, police observed damage to a vehicle that exceeded $1,000. Police determined that Jared Kisla, 25, caused the damage. On Aug. 22, charges for criminal mischief were filed against Kisla through MDJ Garver’s office.
Bench Warrant, Driving While License is Suspended/Revoked – At approximately 12:50 a.m. Aug. 23, police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by Robyn Keim, 45. Keim showed to have a suspended driver’s license as well as a bench warrant out of Lebanon County for failure to appear. Police took Keim into custody and transported her to LCCB without issue.
Hit-and-Run Crash, Accident Involving Damage to Attended Property – At approximately 9:45 p.m. Aug. 13, police responded to the 200 block of West Main Street for a hit-and-run. Police identified Kathryn Sullivan, 31, as the driver of the striking vehicle. On Aug. 24, charges for accident involving damage to attended property, duty to give information and render aid, and careless driving were filed against Sullivan through MDJ Garver’s office.
Arrest Warrant, Drug Possession – At approximately 2 a.m. May 7, police were detailed to Turkey Hill for a wanted person. Police identified Jarrid Steinbauer, 36, as the subject with an active arrest warrant and took him into custody without incident. Police found Steinbauer in possession of a controlled substance during this time. On Aug. 16, charges for possession of a controlled substance were filed against Steinbauer through MDJ Garver’s office.
Bench Warrant, Public Drunkenness – At approximately 5:55 p.m. Aug. 22, police were notified of a visibly intoxicated woman attempting to buy alcohol at Sheetz. Police identified the woman as Deanna Gingrich, 60, who was intoxicated to the point that she was a danger to herself and caused public alarm. Police also determined Gingrich had a bench warrant out of Lebanon County for failure to appear, with the original charges being possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness. Police placed Gingrich under arrest for the warrant and transported her to LCCB. She was also issued a non-traffic citation for public drunkenness.
Union Township
Harassment – At 8:26 a.m. Aug. 10, police responded to the PSP Jonestown lobby for a report of harassment. The victim was a 39-year-old Fredericksburg woman. Police are investigating.
