Bethel Township

Hit-and-Run, Careless Driving – At 7:45 p.m. Sept. 16, an unknown vehicle was traveling north on SR 343, south of Elk Drive, when it struck a 71-year-old Myerstown woman who was directing traffic around Hinklefest. The fire police worker was wearing a high-visibility vest and possessed a color wand. The vehicle fled the scene, heading north. The struck fire police worker was transported via LifeLion EMS to the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital for suspected minor injuries. Police cited the motorist with careless driving.

City of Lebanon

Vehicle Accident, Moving Stopped or Parked Vehicle – At 8:32 a.m. Sept. 28, a crash occurred as a 2007 Toyota Camry driven by a 20-year-old Myerstown, woman entered North Goodwill Street from the Hardees parking lot and struck the driver’s side door of a 2008 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 32-year-old Myerstown man which was traveling south. Both vehicles came to a rest blocking the south lane of North Goodwill Street. The Hummelstown woman and the Myerstown man were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. The Hummelstown woman sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported via Myerstown First Aid Unit to the hospital for treatment. The Myerstown man reported no injuries. Police cited the Hummelstown woman with moving stopped or parked vehicle.

Jackson Township

Criminal Mischief – At 7:30 p.m. Sept. 12, a suspect damaged items, including clothing, valued at $170.10, at Dollar General on West Lincoln Avenue. This incident involved a 2011 Ford Focus.

North Cornwall Township

Vehicle Accident – At 5:05 p.m. Oct. 1, a crash occurred on Summit Street when a vehicle driven by a 59-year-old Lebanon woman exited the Lebanon Plaza shopping center onto Summit Street and collided with a vehicle driven by a 71-year-old Lebanon man. No injuries were reported. One vehicle was towed from the scene.

Disorderly Conduct – At 4:35 p.m. Sept. 29, police responded to a business in the 1700 block of Quentin Road after they received a report that a 41-year-old Annville man had entered the store with a wooden club and threatened employees. Police cited the man with disorderly conduct.

North Lebanon Township

Drug Possession – Police cited Mario Gerena, 33, with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on the 700 block of North 8th Avenue.

Driving While DUI-Suspended – Police cited Luis Otero-Figueroa, 30, with driving while DUI-suspended after a traffic stop on Sept. 29 on the 1200 block of SR 72.

South Londonderry Township

Criminal Mischief – Police are investigating a criminal mischief complaint on the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail. Sometime between the evening of Sept. 30 and the morning of Oct. 2, someone vandalized a memorial next to one of the benches on the trail by covering the memorial in red paint. Vehicle Accident, Turning Movements, Required Signals – At 5:50 p.m. Sept. 16, a crash occurred on South Forge Road at Epler Road when a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old Lebanon woman attempted an unsafe turn in front of an oncoming vehicle driven by a 53-year-old Hershey man. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Cleona Fire Police assisted. Police cited the Lebanon woman with turning movements and required signals.

West Cornwall Township

Vehicle Accident – At 8:45 p.m. Oct. 5, a crash occurred on SR 322, just east of Butler Road, when a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old Manheim woman struck the back end of a vehicle driven by a 52-year-old Wernersville man.
