Sen. Chris Gebhard (R-48) and Rep. Russ Diamond (R-102) have issued an invitation to veterans of the 48th Senatorial District and their families.

Diamond and I are honored to host the incredible men and women who have served our country, as well as their families, as a small way to thank them for defending our great country,” Gebhard said. “We owe them a debt of gratitude for the sacrifices they made so we are able to enjoy our freedom.”
The holiday honoring U.S. veterans falls on Friday, Nov. 11. The breakfast will be held at Country Fare Restaurant, 498 E. Lincoln Ave., Myerstown.
Check-in begins at 8 a.m. Breakfast and the program will start at 9.

Lebanon County Recorder of Deeds Dawn Blouch will be there to issue free veteran ID cards, which can be presented to businesses throughout the region in exchange for discounts. Veterans who wish to receive an ID card should bring their DD214 Form.
