Hit-and-Run Crash – At 6:42 p.m. Nov. 4, a hit-and-run crash occurred at the intersection of SR 343 and Greble Road. A 2004 Ford Explorer driven by a 25-year-old Jonestown woman accompanied by a 25-year-old Palmyra man and a 25-year-old Palmyra woman was traveling north on SR 343 when it was hit on its driver’s side by an unknown vehicle pulling into the intersection, crossing into the north lane of SR 343. The unknown driver stopped and checked their vehicle before fleeing the scene south on SR 343. The male passenger followed in the Ford but was unable to catch the fleeing vehicle. No injuries were reported.
Criminal Mischief Under $1,000 – At 2:39 p.m. Nov. 11, police responded to Locust Avenue for criminal mischief. Police determined that a 43-year-old Fredericksburg woman arrived at the victim’s residence to collect personal belongings and, while leaving, ripped the antenna off the victim’s vehicle. Police cited her for criminal mischief.
Drug Possession – At 3:05 p.m. Nov. 2, police were asked to assist Lebanon County Adult Probation at a home on East Main Street for a report of drug possession discovered during an unscheduled home visit. The arrestee was a 24-year-old Fredericksburg man.
East Hanover Township
Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, Resisting Arrest, Harassment – At 1:40 p.m. Nov. 9, police responded to Allentown Boulevard for a disturbance and determined that a 60-year-old Jonestown man had engaged in an argument with a 42-year-old Grantville man and subsequently pushed and shoved him. The arrestee then became aggressive with the police, resisting arrest and attempting to assault officers. Police cited the arrestee with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, and harassment.
Vehicle Accident, Lamps and Other Equipment on Pedal Cycles – At 5:31 p.m. Nov. 11, a crash occurred as a bicycle ridden by a 14-year-old Myerstown male and a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse driven by an 86-year-old Myerstown man were traveling south on North Locust Street. The bicycle was traveling in front of the Chevrolet in the dark with no visible lights. The Myerstown man did not observe the bicycle in the travel lane, and the Chevrolet struck the bicycle. The bicyclist sustained minor injuries and was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital by his father prior to police arrival. The Myerstown man was wearing his seatbelt and sustained no injuries. Police cited the juvenile operator with lamps and other equipment on pedal cycles.
Vehicle Accident, Following Too Closely – At 3:07 p.m. Nov. 9, a crash occurred on Weavertown Road, just south of Pineapple Road. A 2011 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 16-year-old Richland female, accompanied by a 15-year-old Richland female, was traveling north on Weavertown Road when it rear-ended a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 16-year-old Richland male, who was slowing due to traffic ahead. The Hyundai sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by CJ Wagner’s. The Chevrolet sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene. All occupants of the vehicles were wearing seatbelts and no injuries were reported. Police cited the 16-year-old Richland female with following too closely.
Vehicle Accident, Stop Signs and Yield Signs – At 9:56 a.m. Oct. 25, a crash occurred on West Market Street at North Lancaster Street when a 1989 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 78-year-old Myerstown man was traveling east on West Market Street and struck a 2013 Honda CRV driven by a 53-year-old Harrisburg man who was proceeding through a stop sign without proper clearance. The impact caused the Honda to spin into a 2012 Nissan Juke driven by a 46-year-old Lebanon woman who was stopped at a stop sign on the south side of West Market Street. All vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed. The drivers were wearing seatbelts; the Harrisburg man and the Myerstown man sustained no injuries, while the Lebanon woman sustained suspected minor injuries, was evaluated by Life Lion EMS, and was released on the scene. Police cited the Harrisburg man with stop signs and yield signs.
Disorderly Conduct – At 7:54 p.m. Oct. 31, police responded to West Main Avenue for a report of disorderly conduct after three unidentified juvenile actors threw an egg at the victim’s residence, then fled on foot west on East Main Street. The victim was a 48-year-old Myerstown woman.
Sexual Assault – Police are investigating a report of a man that sexually assaulted a intellectually disabled man sometime between Aug. 1 and Oct. 31 on South Cherry Street. The victim was a 43-year-old Myerstown man.
North Cornwall Township
Vehicle Accident – At 8:03 a.m. Nov. 3, a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by a 32-year-old man turned left from the intersection of Elm and West Locust streets. The man claimed that an obstruction on his windshield caused him to hit a parked vehicle. The man’s vehicle sustained minor damage, but the parked vehicle sustained heavy damage. No injuries were reported. Police cited the man for this crash.
Vehicle Accident, Careless Driving – At 2:40 p.m. Nov. 9, a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by a 59-year-old Lebanon man was traveling south on Rocherty Road and Route 441. The man did not use the roundabout properly and hit a curb, which resulted in a flat tire. The man’s vehicle required a tow. Police cited the man with careless driving.
North Londonderry Township
Vehicle Accident, Duties at Stop Signs – At 3:08 p.m. Nov. 9, police cited a 68-year-old Elizabethtown woman with duties at stop signs following an accident involving a 46-year-old Annville woman at South Railroad and Elm streets around 3 p.m.
South Londonderry Township
Vehicle Accident – At 3:53 a.m. Nov. 2, police responded to the 2700 block of Horseshoe Pike for a three-vehicle crash involving two parked cars. The driver, a 27-year-old Harrisburg man, veered off to the left of the road, striking two parked cars. No injuries were reported.
Retail Theft – At 12 a.m. Nov. 6, police responded to Old Route 22 for a report of retail theft. A 43-year-old Jonestown man allegedly stole a Vienna sausage, valued at $1.55, from BG’s Value Market in Jonestown.
West Cornwall Township
Harassment – Police cited a 23-year-old man with harassment after an incident on Nov. 2 at an institution.
