Historic Schaefferstown Inc.’s annual Christkindlmarkt is back at St. Paul’s UCC this year on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 9 and 10.

More than 20 skilled artisans will be in attendance with plenty of early American and Pennsylvania German crafts for sale, perfect for last-minute gifts. Items you’ll find include balsam wreaths and Christmas decorations, folk art wood carvings, feather trees, quilt art, hooked rugs, penny rugs, hand-woven gifts, and more.

St. Paul’s UCC, at 1304 Heidelberg Ave., will host the event, with organizers noting that plenty of off-street parking is available.

Unlike your traditional 18th-century Christkindlmarkt, credit cards will be accepted at this event.

Hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

If you have questions about the event, check out the Facebook page here or reach out to HSI directly at 717-949-2244.
