The Annville Church of the Brethren will host a free Christmas concert featuring Ridgeway Brass at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4.
This free public concert is being held in part to raise money for Brethren Disaster Ministries, a program that helps communities recover from major disasters. A freewill offering will be taken during the concert.
Ridgeway Brass features Ron Howe and Mike Schmehl on trumpets, Josh Stroup on French horn, Don Wetzel on trombone, and Greg Bidgood Enders on tuba. All the musicians have connections to the Ridgeway Church of the Brethren in Harrisburg.
The group has also played extensively around Central Pennsylvania, as well as in the Philadelphia and Baltimore areas, with a wide-reaching repertoire and a variety of sounds.
The Annville Church of the Brethren is at 495 E. Maple St., Annville.
