The Lebanon County Historical Society is opening its doors on Sunday, Dec. 4, for a Christmas Open House.
The historical society, at 924 Cumberland St., strives to be more than just a place to learn about the past. “We hope to be a place where the community can gather for fun and celebration,” organizers said in an email announcing the event.
“As such, we are happy to announce we will be hosting a FREE open house for the community this holiday season.”
The open house will feature decorations, live music, and light refreshments. Kid-friendly activities will include a working model train exhibit, an ornament making workshop, free candy canes, and even a visit from Santa himself.
During the event, the museum will be available for self-guided walk-throughs and the gift shop will be open as well.
Festivities run from 1:30 to 5 p.m. On-street parking is available nearby.
