Cleona Borough

Terroristic Threats – At 7:39 p.m. Dec. 25, police responded to East Pine Street to investigate threats made towards a business. No credible threats were discovered. The victim was a 67-year-old Cleona man. Police are investigating.

East Hanover Township

Theft – At 1:03 p.m. Jan. 5, on Jonestown Road, a firearm valued at $400 was stolen from the center console of an unlocked vehicle belonging to a 35-year-old Ono man. Police are investigating.

Vehicle Accident – At 6:33 a.m. Jan. 12, a 2013 Nissan Versa driven by a 40-year-old Palmyra man was traveling north on Ono Road and struck a deer north of Swatara Drive. The Nissan sustained disabling damage and was towed. The man was wearing a seatbelt, and no injuries were reported.

Jackson Township

Theft By Deception – On Jan. 12, police responded to the 300 block of West Lincoln Avenue for a business that was scammed by way of a compromised email. The investigation is ongoing.

Jonestown Borough

Firearm Found – At 12:04 p.m. Jan. 6, police responded to the 100 block of South Lancaster Street for a pistol that was found in the trunk of a vehicle recently purchased from Manheim Auto Auction. Police are investigating.

Theft Items from Motor Vehicle – At 2 p.m. Jan. 11, police received a report from a 42-year-old Jonestown man about a theft of items from his motor vehicle that occurred a few days prior on Creek View Drive. An investigation is ongoing. If anyone else has experienced recent theft of items from their motor vehicles and has not yet contacted police about it, please call your local jurisdiction or PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194.

Myerstown Borough

Harassment – At approximately 7:10 p.m. Jan. 7, police responded to the 00 block of East Stoever Avenue for harassment. Police determined that a woman spat in the face of her ex-husband, a 43-year-old Myerstown man, during an argument. No injuries were observed or reported. Charges were filed.

Vehicle Accident – At 12:29 p.m. Dec. 28, a 2022 International driven by a 29-year-old man was traveling north on North College Street, when a yellow Ford Explorer failed to come to a complete stop at a stop sign at the intersection of North College Street and West Washington Avenue. The Ford hit the International, then fled the scene. The driver was wearing his seatbelt and reported no injuries.

North Cornwall Township

Assault – At 7:09 p.m. Jan. 5, police responded to the 1100 block of Quentin Road for a report of an assault by Tyana Foxhall, 18, of Cleona, on an officer. Charges were filed.

Vehicle Accident – At 8:01 a.m. Jan. 7, a vehicle driven by a 55-year-old Lebanon man was traveling east on East Penn Avenue. The man’s vehicle veered off the road and struck a utility pole. No injuries were reported. The man’s vehicle was towed from the scene.

Drug Possession – At 2:45 p.m. Jan. 7, police were conducting a routine traffic stop when the officer observed marijuana on the floor and detected an odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Charges were filed against a 37-year-old Lebanon man.

Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Drug Offenses – At 8:05 a.m. Jan. 10, police arrested Blake Longenecker, 24, of Palmyra, and charged him with theft of a motor vehicle and drug offenses due to his involvement in an incident that occurred on the 200 block of Snitz Road. Longenecker allegedly stole a vehicle parked at a residence in the early morning hours. Longenecker was located inside the vehicle in South Londonderry Township, where he was taken into custody without further incident.

Vehicle Accident – At 6:10 p.m. Jan. 10, a crash occurred when a vehicle driven by a 24-year-old Womelsdorf man was stopped in a line of westbound traffic on Rocherty Road at Cornwall Road. A 48-year-old Lebanon man failed to see the stopped traffic and struck the back of the Womelsdorf man’s vehicle, which caused the Womelsdorf man’s vehicle to hit the vehicle in front of him. One vehicle was towed from the scene.

Armed Robbery – Peter Rousselle, 30, of Lebanon, was arrested on Jan. 10 for an incident at 7:25 p.m. Dec. 6 in the 1700 block of Quentin Road, when he allegedly committed theft and threatened another person with a firearm.

Harassment – At 3:32 p.m. Jan. 11, police received a complaint regarding harassment in the 100 block of Highland Glen Street. Police cited a 37-year-old Lebanon woman for their alleged involvement.

North Londonderry Township

Vehicle Accident – At approximately 8:12 p.m. Jan. 5, police responded to the North Londonderry Square shopping center after a vehicle driven by a 66-year-old Palmyra woman struck the rear of a vehicle driven by a 22-year-old Lebanon woman causing the Palmyra woman’s vehicle to drive over the median and onto the curb. The Lebanon woman’s vehicle sustained a flat tire, while the Palmyra woman’s vehicle sustained front-end and undercarriage damage.

Drug Possession – At 4:07 a.m. Sept. 5, police cited Mikayla Brandon, 23, of Palmyra, with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident on the 1200 block of West Main Street.

Vehicle Accident, Vehicle Turning Left – At 5:09 p.m. Jan. 7, a vehicle driven by an 87-year-old Palmyra man was struck by a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old Palmyra man at the intersection of Campbelltown Road and Elm Street. The older Palmyra man’s vehicle was traveling north and the 19-year-old Palmyra man’s vehicle was traveling south on Campbelltown Road. The 87-year-old failed to yield the right of way to the 19-year-old Palmyra man and made a left turn in front of his vehicle. The 87-year-old Palmyra man’s vehicle was struck by the other man’s vehicle and both vehicles were towed from the scene. No injuries were reported. Police cited the older man with vehicle turning left.

Vehicle Accident – At 12:03 p.m. Jan. 11, vehicles driven by a 40-year-old Cleona woman and a 51-year-old Annville woman collided on a parking lot in Londonderry Village on the 1200 block of Grubb Road. No injuries were reported. The Annville woman’s vehicle was towed from the scene.

Drug Possession – At 4:39 a.m. Dec. 8, police stopped Manuel Rivera, 20, of Lititz, for a traffic violation on the 1100 block of Park Drive and discovered that he was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Vehicle Accident, Following Too Closely – At 3:13 p.m. Jan. 12, police responded to a crash at the intersection of South Forge Road and Buttonwood Street. A vehicle driven by a 40-year-old Palmyra man was coming to a stop when it was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by a 35-year-old Palmyra woman. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were driven from the scene. Police cited the Palmyra woman for following too closely through MDJ Garver’s office.

Palmyra Borough

Public Drunkenness – At approximately 5:16 p.m. Dec. 26, police responded to the 600 block of West Main Street for a report of a male subject on the road disrupting traffic. It was also reported that the subject placed an item from a nearby business on the road, which was later found to be damaged. Units responded and located the subject, a 38-year-old New Mexico man, who advised he had been trying to obtain a ride. The man was found to be under the influence of alcohol, and EMS was requested on the scene to assist. He was transported from the scene to the Hershey Medical Center for further evaluation. He was issued citations for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct; however, the disorderly conduct citation was later withdrawn as the property owner did not wish that the man be cited for the damage.

Disorderly Conduct – On Jan. 7, police responded to Sheetz for a subject causing a disturbance in the parking lot. Police cited a 19-year-old Palmyra woman with disorderly conduct.

Driving While Suspended, Expired Registration – At 9:36 p.m. Dec. 7, police stopped a vehicle driven by Jeffrey Fountain, 62, for expired registration. Police found that Fountain had a DUI-suspended license with enough prior offenses to constitute a misdemeanor of the third degree. Charges were filed on Jan. 3 through MDJ Garver’s office. 

Simple Assault, Criminal Mischief, Harassment – At approximately 11:12 a.m. Dec. 17, police responded to the 200 block of North Chestnut Street for a physical domestic. Police made contact with the victim, who had visible injuries and property damage as a result of this incident. Police determined that Gary Santiago-Mora, 25, had broken into the victim’s residence and assaulted her, which resulted in an injury to the victim’s right hand. Santiago-Mora had fled the scene, so police issued a warrant for his arrest. At approximately 7:30 a.m. Jan. 12, police served the arrest warrant and Santiago-Mora was taken into custody and transported to LCCB.

South Lebanon Township

Drug Possession – At approximately 2:50 p.m. Nov. 14, police responded to a business on the 3100 block of State Drive for a report of a subject in possession of illegal narcotics. Police determined that a 19-year-old man was in possession of marijuana. Charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana were filed against the man on Jan. 9.

Burglary from Motor Vehicle – At approximately 8:23 p.m. Jan. 5, police responded to the 300 block of Vine Street for a report of cash and gift cards stolen from a vehicle parked outside the residence.

Shots Fired – At approximately 2:19 a.m. Jan. 7, police responded to the 00 block of East Poplar Street after residents reported hearing the sound and observing the muzzle flash of two shots being fired behind the home. Several persons were observed running from the area. Shell casings were located at the scene.

Shots Fired into Structure – At approximately 5:57 a.m. Jan. 13, police responded to the Met-Ed building, at 600 South 5th Ave., after the front doors of the building were struck by three bullets. It is believed that the incident occurred around 11 p.m. Jan. 12.

South Londonderry Township

Vehicle Accident – At 1:56 a.m. Jan. 1, a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Annville female juvenile was heading north on South Forge Road when an eastbound vehicle on Hinkle Road, driven by a 43-year-old Annville woman failed to stop and yield the right of way. The juvenile’s vehicle T-boned the Annville woman’s vehicle. Both vehicles had three passengers. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene.

Vehicle Accident – At 4:57 p.m. Jan. 4, a vehicle driven by a 44-year-old Lebanon man was traveling west on Horseshoe Pike, stopping to turn, when the man’s vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by an 81-year-old Hershey woman who was heading west on Horseshoe Pike. No injuries were reported. One of the vehicles was towed from the scene.

Vehicle Accident – At 6:41 a.m. Jan. 6, a Subaru station wagon driven by a 55-year-old Lebanon man, collided with a Ford sedan driven by a 59-year-old Lancaster man at the intersection of Mount Wilson and Mine roads. The 55-year-old Lebanon man reported that his vehicle began to slide as he tried to stop for the stop sign on Mine Road, and he struck the Lancaster man’s vehicle as he was driving on Mount Wilson Road. The Lancaster man was taken to the hospital for an injury. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.

Union Township

Vehicle Accident, DUI – At 10:37 p.m. Jan. 10, a crash occurred when a 2014 Ford Explorer driven by Heidi Weidman, 55, of Newmanstown, was traveling east on SR 22 and struck a 2003 Kenworth tractor and semi-trailer that was parked on the right shoulder. The Ford rear-ended the Kenworth, then rolled over. Weidman was wearing her seatbelt and sustained injuries of unknown severity. She was transported via Life Lion EMS to Hershey Medical Center for evaluation. Police said Weidman was operating the Ford while under the influence of alcohol.
