Packages for candidates interested in running in the spring 2023 municipal primary election are now available at the Lebanon County Bureau of Elections.
Packages contain the petitions that can be used to gather the necessary number of signatures to run in the election. The number of signatures required varies by office.
Importantly, signatures may not be collected before Feb. 14. Signatures may be collected from Valentine’s Day through March 7, 2023.
Via email, county elections director Sean Drasher said that it’s exciting to see people stopping in and starting the first step of new campaigns.
The primary election this year will be held Tuesday, May 16. The municipal election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
With questions, the Lebanon County Bureau of Elections can be contacted at (717) 228-4428 or voter@lebcnty.org, or visited in-person by heading to Room 209 of the Lebanon County Municipal Building between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
