City of Lebanon

Disorderly Conduct – Police charged a 32-year-old Lebanon man with disorderly conduct (excessive noise/music from a motor vehicle) at 10:15 a.m. Feb. 16 on the 200 block of Cumberland Street.

Retention of Library Property – The following persons retained property belonging to the Lebanon Community Library after 30 days’ notice to return said property and have been charged with retention of library property: a 31-year-old Lebanon man, a 35-year-old Lebanon man, a 27-year-old North Lebanon man, and a 25-year-old Lebanon man.

Dog Laws – Police charged a 34-year-old Lebanon man with dog laws, running at large prohibited, at 1:53 a.m. Jan. 25 in the area of 9th and Mifflin streets.

Drug Possession – Police charged Shariem Houston, 37, of Lebanon, with possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident at 8:49 p.m. Feb. 17 on the 200 block of South 4th Street.

Heidelberg Township

Vehicle Accident, Vehicle Turning Left – At 4:41 p.m. Feb. 21, a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze driven by a 20-year-old Denver woman was traveling south on SR 501 (Stiegel Pike), and a 2010 Mazda Mazda 3 driven by a 37-year-old Myerstown man was traveling north on SR 501. The Chevrolet made a left turn onto SR 897 (West Main Street) in the path of the Mazda and was struck. Both vehicles sustained major damage to the front of the vehicles. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts, and airbags were deployed in both vehicles. No injuries were reported. Police charged the Denver woman with vehicle turning left.

Jackson Township

Vehicle Accident, Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed – At 6:07 a.m. March 3, a 2016 Nissan Altima driven by a 34-year-old Lebanon woman was traveling west on Elm Street when the driver lost control while negotiating a left curve in the road. The car left the road and struck a bridge abutment, sustaining major damage to its front end. The woman was wearing a seatbelt, and the front airbags were deployed. She sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported via Richland EMS to the hospital. Police charged her with driving vehicle at safe speed.

Myerstown Borough

Theft By Deception – At 11:48 a.m. Nov. 25, the victim received a pop-up warning on her new computer stating that child pornography had been detected. She contacted the customer service number and was scammed out of $1,000 in Visa cards and $15,000 in Bitcoin. The victim was a 70-year-old Myerstown woman.

North Cornwall Township

Pedestrian Struck – At 10:57 a.m. Feb. 28, police responded to the 1700 block of Quentin Road for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle driven by a 76-year-old Mount Joy man. The pedestrian was transported to the Hershey Medical Center for evaluation.

Hit-and-Run Crash – At 2:13 p.m. March 7, police charged Magan Klinger, 45, of Lebanon, with leaving the scene of an accident after hitting a guide rail near Colebrook and Meadow Lane.

Narcotics Possession – At 9:53 p.m. March 7, police charged Adrian Sandoval, 28, with possession of a narcotic after he was found sleeping inside his vehicle in the parking lot of CVS.

North Londonderry Township

Vehicle Accident, Duties at Stop Signs – Police cited a 54-year-old Elizabethtown woman with duties at stop signs following an accident involving a vehicle driven by a 47-year-old Palmyra man at the intersection of East Main Street and Plaza Drive at 12:48 p.m. March 4.

Richland Borough

Criminal Mischief $1,000+ – At approximately 3:34 a.m. Dec. 11, Daulton Risser, 22, of Myerstown, allegedly slashed some tires on a 2019 Nissan Titan, a 2020 Ram Truck, and a 2019 Honda CRV on the 100 block of North Race Street. The damaged tires were each valued at $200. Victims were a 41-year-old Richland woman, a 44-year-old Richland man, and a 39-year-old Richland woman.

South Lebanon Township

Drug Possession – At approximately 12:59 p.m. March 5, police pulled over a vehicle on the 600 block of East Cumberland Street. Police determined that the driver, Samantha Hunter, 29, and a passenger, Steven Cornett, were in possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Police charged Hunter and Cornett with possession of a controlled or counterfeit substance.

Arrest Prior to Requisition – At approximately 5:28 p.m. March 4, police pulled over a vehicle on the 700 block of South 5th Avenue. Police determined that the driver, David Wanner, 37, was a fugitive from justice from the state of Maryland. Police took Wanner into custody and charged him with arrest prior to requisition (fugitive from justice).

Stalking – On Dec. 13, police received a report of ongoing harassment beginning in 2021. Police learned that Shalin Corbett, 26, was warned or charged on eight separate occasions for continuously harassing a female victim. Police charged Corbett with stalking.

South Londonderry Township

Vehicle Accident – At 11:36 p.m. March 4, police responded to the 900 block of Mine Road for a crash. The driver, a 44-year-old Lebanon man, fell asleep at the wheel, drove into a mailbox, and struck a parked trailer and vehicle on the property. The driver was transported to the Hershey Medical Center.

Swatara Township

Theft – On March 4, the Jonestown Fish and Game contacted PSP Jonestown in reference to a theft. It was reported that $29 was stolen between March 3 and 4. Anyone with any information is asked to contact PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194.

Union Township

Dissemination of Intimate Image – At 9:11 a.m. March 1, police responded to the PSP Jonestown station lobby for the report of harassment. The victim was a 33-year-old Lebanon woman. Police are investigating.
