Bethel Township
DUI – At 8:43 p.m. Feb. 28, police pulled over a 2011 Nissan Titan on the 500 block of Shirksville Road and found the driver, Jeffrey Kohr, 55, of Lebanon, driving while under the influence. Charges were filed.
Vehicle Accident, Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed – At 2:02 p.m. March 9, a two-vehicle crash occurred when a 2006 Ford Freestyle driven by a 19-year-old Hamburg woman and a 2002 Toyota Sienna driven by a 64-year-old Lebanon man were traveling north on South Pine Grove Street and attempted to turn right on SR 22 East. The Toyota slowed at the yield sign and was rear-ended by the Ford. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. The Lebanon man reported head pain and was transported via EMS to the Good Samaritan Hospital for further evaluation. Police charged the Hamburg woman with driving vehicle at safe speed.
Criminal Mischief Under $1,000 – At approximately 6:50 a.m. March 14, a Fredericksburg woman reported that someone put glue in the deadbolt, valued at $100, on her front door, and she could not lock or unlock her door. The property maintenance manager at Beach Run Apartments in Fredericksburg was contacted to change the lock. Video surveillance did not show anyone approach the woman’s door except for her.
Criminal Trespass Defiant – At 10:52 a.m. Feb. 18, police responded to Sunrise Court when a 60-year-old Lebanon man reported a trespasser.
City of Lebanon
Dog Laws, Running at Large Prohibited – Police charged a 39-year-old Lebanon woman with dog laws, running at large prohibited at 7:12 p.m. Jan. 15 on the 1100 block of Mifflin Street.
Drug Possession – Police charged a 24-year-old Lebanon man with possession of controlled substance and possession of a small amount of marijuana after an incident at 1:32 p.m. Nov. 15 on the 1300 block of Cumberland Street.
Drug Possession – Police charged Meraldo Sanchez-Figueroa, 44, of Lebanon, with possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident at 3:19 p.m. Nov. 20 on the 200 block of South 4th Street.
Forgery – Police charged Karen Stepp, 50, of Lebanon, after she forged a check belonging to another person at 2:09 p.m. Nov. 25 on the 100 block of South 16th Street.
False Identification to Law Enforcement – Police charged Felip Rodriguez-Jimenez, 47, of Lebanon, with false identification to law enforcement after he provided a fictitious name to police at 3:10 a.m. Dec. 10 on the 1200 block of Cumberland Street.
Simple Assault – Police charged Jolin Zimmerman, 19, of Lebanon, after he was accused of punching and kicking another person at 4:45 a.m. Feb. 7 on the 500 block of Jones Street.
DUI, Accidents Involving Damage to Unattended Vehicle or Property – Police charged Ernesto Aldea, 33, of York, with DUI-general impairment and accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property after he was involved in an accident at 8:37 p.m. March 3 on the 500 block of State Drive.
Drug Possession – Police charged Peter Wonsta, 27, of Mechanicsburg, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was picked up on a warrant out of Lehigh County at 10:58 p.m. March 7 on the 600 block of Locust Street.
Arrest Prior to Requisition – Police charged Xavier Rivera-Figueroa, 32, of Lebanon, with arrest prior to requisition after an incident at 3:54 a.m. March 8 on the 100 block of South 8th Street.
Arrest for Violation of Order – Police charged Taquan Bradford, 30, of Lebanon, after he violated a PFA order at 2:30 p.m. March 9 on the 200 block of South 4th Street and at 8:53 a.m. March 10 on the 1100 block of Jackson Boulevard.
Criminal Trespass – Police charged Carlos Gonzalez Ortiz, 26, with criminal trespass-break into structure after he entered a residence at 8:07 a.m. March 9 on the 900 block of Walnut Street.
Driving while DUI Suspended, Illegal Turn – Police charged Efrain Esquilin-Lebron, 47, of Lebanon, with driving while DUI suspended and illegal turn after he was stopped for a traffic violation at 5:13 a.m. March 10 on the 400 block of North 7th Street.
Possession of Firearm Prohibited, Firearms Not to be Carried without a License – Police charged Ernie Torres-Baez, 42, of Lebanon, with possession of firearm prohibited, firearms not to be carried without a license, terroristic threats, possession of a weapon, and simple assault after a domestic incident where the accused made verbal threats to harm another person at 4:47 p.m. March 10 on the 300 block of East Weidman Street.
East Hanover Township
Vehicle Accident, Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed – At approximately 2:55 p.m. March 10, police responded to SR 934 at the intersection of Jonestown Road for a report of a two-vehicle crash with injuries. Investigation revealed that the driver of a 2005 Chevrolet Impala, a 29-year-old Annville woman was traveling too fast for conditions, causing her to strike a 2014 Jeep Wrangler driven by a 58-year-old Fredericksburg woman. The Annville woman was wearing a seatbelt and sustained suspected minor injuries but refused transport. The Fredericksburg woman was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained suspected minor injuries. She was transported via Central Medical Ambulance to Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Appropriate charges, including driving vehicle at safe speed, will be filed.
Fleeing and Eluding – At approximately 3 p.m. March 15, police attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a silver 2013 Honda Civic on SR 22 east (the 10400 block of Allentown Boulevard) near Mill Road. On SR 22 at Picnic Woods Road, the Honda made an abrupt U-turn onto SR 22 west in front of a pickup truck. A pursuit ensued on SR 22 west with speeds reaching and exceeding 100 mph. The pursuit continued into Dauphin County, where PSP Harrisburg deployed spike strips on SR 22 at Bretz Drive and another set of spike strips on SR 22 at SR 39. The Honda continued west before coming to a stop as a result of a PIT maneuver on SR 22 near North Clover Lane. Police took the driver into custody and identified him via his Colombian ID as Diego Martinez Valencia, 29, of Harrisburg. Police seized marijuana from the Honda. Police transported Martinez Valencia to the Dauphin County Booking Center for processing and arraignment.
Jackson Township
DUI – At 1:10 a.m. March 11, a 60-year-old Fredericksburg man operated a 2010 Ford F-150XLT with a third door on the passenger’s side on East Lincoln Avenue and Wintersville Road while under the influence of alcohol.
Vehicle Accident, Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed – At 7:21 a.m. March 15, a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 62-year-old Richland man and a 2017 Ford Escape driven by a 44-year-old Myerstown woman were traveling south in the south lane of North College Street. The Richland man failed to notice that traffic was slow due to a horse-drawn carriage and crashed into the rear of the Ford. The Chevrolet sustained major damage to its front end. The Ford sustained moderate damage to the rear of the vehicle. The Richland man was not wearing a seatbelt and was not injured. The Myerstown woman was wearing a seatbelt and sustained suspected minor injuries. She was transported via Myerstown First Aid Unit to the Good Samaritan Hospital. Police charged Light with driving vehicle at safe speed.
North Cornwall Township
Vehicle Accident – At 8:45 p.m. March 7, a vehicle driven by a 38-year-old Lebanon woman was traveling east on Rocherty Road. A vehicle driven by a 35-year-old Fredericksburg man was traveling north on Quentin Road when his vehicle was struck by the Lebanon woman’s vehicle. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Vehicle Accident – At 6:54 p.m. March 8, a vehicle driven by a 50-year-old Annville woman was traveling west on Rocherty Road. A vehicle driven by a 100-year-old Lebanon woman went to make a right turn onto Rocherty Road and was struck by the Annville woman’s vehicle. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Retail Theft – At approximately 7:45 p.m. March 13, at the Ulta Beauty Store, three juveniles from Norristown were charged with retail theft after allegedly shoplifting merchandise from the store. The stolen merchandise was valued at $7,182.
Move Over Law Detail – Between 3 and 7 p.m. March 16, police conducted a move over law detail on Cumberland Street. Motorists are required to slow down and safely merge into a lane furthest away from the “emergency response area” where vehicles have pulled over and have their hazard lights flashing or where road crews, tow trucks, or emergency responders have their emergency lights activated for an incident on the road. This detail was funded by the Police Traffic Service Grant.
North Lebanon Township
Under Influence of Controlled Substance – Police charged a 55-year-old Lebanon woman with being under the influence of a controlled substance at Lebanon Valley Mall on Feb. 9.
Vehicle Accident – Police charged a 34-year-old Lebanon woman after being involved in a crash with another Lebanon woman on Feb. 11 on East Maple Street and Weavertown Road.
North Londonderry Township
Vehicle Accident, Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic – At 3:11 p.m. March 13, police charged an Annville man after the vehicle he was driving entered the opposite lane near Old Forge and Sportsman roads, striking a southbound vehicle driven by a Palmyra man, who was accompanied by a Palmyra woman. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Hit-and-Run – At 4:15 p.m. March 14, police responded to the 00 block of Londonderry Square for a hit-and-run crash. A witness reported observing a 54-year-old Harrisburg woman striking a parked vehicle of a 55-year-old Palmyra woman while attempting to park her vehicle. The victim also observed the Harrisburg woman damage the Palmyra woman’s vehicle by opening her door, striking the Palmyra woman’s vehicle. The victim reported that after being confronted, the driver fled the scene. Police charged the Harrisburg woman with accidents involving unattended vehicle.
Palmyra Borough
DUI, Incapable of Safe Driving, Restriction of Alcoholic Beverages – At approximately 11:25 p.m. Jan. 31, police responded to an unconscious subject slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle. Police identified the subject as Archie Neopaney, 22, who was showing signs of being under the influence of alcohol. Police arrested Neopaney and transported him to Good Samaritan Hospital, where a blood draw was taken. On Feb. 16, the blood results showed that Neopaney’s BAC was .204% at the time of the stop. On Feb. 17, charges were filed against Neopaney at MDJ Garver’s office for DUI-highest rate of alcohol, incapable of safe driving, and restriction of alcoholic beverages.
Bench Warrants – At 2:23 a.m. March 4, police investigated an unregistered vehicle in the Sheetz parking lot. Police found the owner of the car, Jarrod Sales, 33, and determined that he had two bench warrants out of Lebanon County for criminal trespass and domestic relations. Police arrested Sales for the warrants and transported him to LCCB without incident.
Theft By Deception – On March 13, police filed charges against Todd Barto, 42, for theft by deception through MDJ Carl Garver’s office as a result of an incident on Aug. 1 in the 00 block of North Grant Street. Barto is accused of taking $6,700 from the victim and failing to complete home repairs as agreed upon.
DUI, Drug Possession, Disregard Single Traffic Lane – On Jan. 11, police pulled over a vehicle driven by Janette Raspatello, 42, on the 800 block of East Main Street. Police determined that Raspatello was under the influence of a controlled substance. Raspatello was also in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. On Feb. 27, police filed charges against Raspatello for DUI-incapable of safe driving, DUI-controlled substance, DUI-metabolite of a substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and disregarding a single traffic lane.
Robbery – On March 17, police obtained a criminal arrest warrant for Nathanial Bruce, 20, in connection to a robbery (and motor vehicle theft) that occurred March 16 at Jubilee Ministries, 232 W. Main St. Bruce forcibly removed keys from a patron of the store and fled in the victim’s silver 2001 Honda Accord. Anyone with information related to this incident or knowledge of Bruce’s whereabouts is asked to contact Palmyra Police at 717-838-8189 or submit a tip to CRIMEWATCH. Tips can be submitted anonymously. The stolen vehicle was located in Susquehanna Township during the evening of March 17. No one was found with the vehicle.
Forgery, Identity Theft, Theft By Unlawful Taking, Receiving Stolen Property – On March 15, police obtained a criminal arrest warrant for Sarah Huff, 35, through MDJ Carl Garver’s office in relation to an incident that occurred on July 29, 2020, at Member’s 1st Federal Credit Union in Palmyra. Police identified Huff as the subject responsible for cashing a stolen check and presenting a separate individual’s stolen drivers license while wearing a disguise. Police charged Huff with two counts of forgery, three counts of identity theft, one county of theft by unlawful taking, and one county of receiving stolen property. Huff is from Virginia and her current whereabouts are unknown. Huff was driving the depicted dark-colored GMC SUV at the time. Swatara Township
Vehicle Accident, Stop Signs and Yield Signs – At 5 p.m. March 10, a 2011 Hyundai Sonata driven by a 44-year-old Lebanon woman was traveling south on SR 72. The Hyundai hit a 2019 Ford F250 Supercab driven by a 45-year-old Lancaster man, accompanied by a 40-year-old Kinzers woman, as it pulled into the intersection without stopping at the stop sign. All occupants were wearing seatbelts. The Lancaster man and Kinzers woman reported no injuries. The Lebanon woman sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported via Myerstown First Aid Unit to Hershey Medical Center. Police charged the Lancaster man with stop signs and yield signs.
Union Township
Vehicle Accident, Vehicle Turning Left – At 7:50 p.m. March 16, this two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Jonestown Road and Maple Lane. A 2013 Chevrolet Malibu driven by a 71-year-old Fredericksburg man, accompanied by a 68-year-old Fredericksburg woman, was traveling in the east lane of Jonestown Road, waiting to turn left onto Maple Lane. A 2011 Suzuki driven by a 33-year-old Jonestown woman was traveling west on Jonestown Road. The Chevrolet proceeded to turn left into the path of the Suzuki, causing the Suzuki to strike the Chevrolet at the 3 o’clock position. The Chevrolet sustained minor passenger’s side damage. The Suzuki sustained disabling damage. The Jonestown woman was wearing a motorcycle helmet, sustained a suspected serious ankle injury, and was transported via Life Lion EMS. The Fredericksburg man and woman were wearing seatbelts and were not injured. The Suzuki was towed from the scene. NLFES assisted on the scene. Police charged the Fredericksburg man with vehicle turning left.
West Lebanon Township
Retail Theft – Police charged Estrella Mitchell, 19, of Lebanon, with retail theft after failing to pay for $322.99 worth of merchandise on Feb. 24.
