A 22-year-old Lebanon man was arrested after a report of shots fired Thursday on South Cherry Street.
According to a statement issued Friday by Lebanon city police, Benjamin Perez was charged with aggravated assault and other offenses after the arrest.
Officers responded to the 200 block of South Cherry Street at approximately 1:14 p.m. Thursday, April 6, and determined that no one was injured as a result of shots fired in a domestic dispute at the scene. Police said Perez had fled the scene before officers arrived but he was located and taken into custody without incident.
Perez was taken to Lebanon County Central Booking and is awaiting arraignment before Magisterial Court Judge Maria Dissinger.
