Visit Lebanon Valley, the official tourism organization of Lebanon County, is launching its latest “Lebanon Valley Libations Trail” on Wednesday, April 19, to highlight local brewers and restaurants in the area.
The trail will run for eight weeks, ending on June 14.
The Libations Trail is a free digital passport program for anyone over 21 years of age. The program features local breweries such as Snitz Creek Brewery, Rotunda Brewing Company, Isaac’s Craft Kitchen & Brewery, Under the Bridge Hard Cider, and the new Lebanon Valley Craft Brewery.
Restaurants offering local craft brew are also included on the tour – Blue Bird Inn, Funck’s Restaurant, Mick’s All-American Pub, Mount Gretna Hideaway, Quentin Tavern, Rising Sun Bar & Kitchen, Rotunda Brew Pub, Seven Cuz Beer Store, Snitz Creek Brewery at Fort Indiantown Gap, and The Gin Mill.
A kick-off party will take place on April 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cornwall Iron Furnace. The event is open to those 21 and over and will feature free samples from local brewers, music, and free tours of the Cornwall Iron Furnace from 4 to 6 p.m.
A local food truck will be on hand, and drinks will be available for purchase from participating breweries. Advance registration is required and attendance is limited.
Once the trail launches, participants can visit a mobile passport landing page to sign up and access the program on their phone. The program is designed to be easily accessible, allowing users to check in at participating locations and earn rewards while discovering local brews.
“This group of brewers has such passion for their craft,” said Visit Lebanon Valley president Jennifer Kuzo. “The quality beverages they create are so impressive. That’s why the Libations Trail is an experience like no other.”
