LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.

This week, meet Rocky and Bullwinkle!

These lively pups celebrated their third birthdays in February, right around Valentine’s Day, according to owner Bill Eckenroth.

Bill says he got this brother and sister pair of Australian cattle dogs (aka “blue heelers”) at a truck stop in Boise, Idaho, in March 2020, back when the coronavirus panic “first began gripping the nation.”

Rocky, he says, is the smaller, lighter-colored female with red tones in her coat, while Bullwinkle is the larger, darker blue-hued male.

“Although Rocky & Bullwinkle are hard-working truckers, they have plenty of time, for fun, while home in Lebanon,” Bill says. “A few of their hobbies include: herding the cat, chasing balls, chasing squirrels, swimming in the creek, attacking the garden hose, spending time with family, cuddling, digging holes in the couch.”
