Allison Leitzel Williams of Leitzel’s Jewelry, a family-owned Lebanon Valley business, has been named to Jewelers of America’s ’20 Under 40′ in Jewelry Retail list.

The recognition program, initiated in 2022, lauds young professionals demonstrating leadership skills and a commitment to shaping the future of jewelry retail. An industry panel selected Williams from JA Retail Members nationwide, highlighting her leadership, innovation, and ability to enhance her store’s success while maintaining professional ethics.

“Jewelers of America’s ’20 Under 40′ in Jewelry Retail list was designed to recognize young and talented individuals in all facets of the retail jewelry industry,” said JA President and CEO David Bonaparte. “Allison possesses all the qualities and leadership skills that will help to pave the way for a brighter future and the next generation of jewelry industry professionals.”

Williams, a 2003 ELCO High School graduate and 2006 Millersville University alumna, is the president and co-owner of Leitzel’s Jewelry. She continued her education at the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, CA, where she earned a graduate degree in gemology.

Williams’ dedication extends beyond her business. Recognized locally by the United Way and Central Pennsylvania’s ’40 Under 40,’ she is also an American Heart Association’s Volunteer of the Year and a member of the Retail Jewelers Organization’s Next Gen Board of Directors.

Williams is the daughter of second-generation owner Ceylon Leitzel, who is now retired.

Leitzel’s Jewelry was founded in 1949 by Ceylon’s uncle, Charles Leitzel Jr., and father, Marvin F. Leitzel. Leitzel’s Jewelry’s first store was in Millersburg, PA, and today, the company operates stores in Myerstown and Hershey.
