Annville Township
Simple Assault, Harassment – At 3:42 a.m. May 18, police responded to a residence on the 200 block of West Main Street for a report of a domestic disturbance. Through further investigation, police arrested Jason Hill, 33, of Annville, and charged him with one count of simple assault and one count of harassment. Police also filed charges against Courtney Mishoe, 36, of Annville, for one count of simple assault and one count of harassment. Both subjects sustained physical injuries as a result of their physical altercation.
Summer Road Construction – Beginning on or about June 19, there will be road construction on West Church Street from North King Street to North Cherry Street for a water line replacement and on East Maple Street from North College Street to North Weaber Street for a water line replacement. Please be aware of changing detours, closures, and parking restrictions.
Bethel Township
Vehicle Accident, Overtaking Vehicle On The Left – At 11:44 a.m. May 29, this crash occurred on Pine Grove Road. This crash involved a 2013 GMC Acadia driven by a 67-year-old Fredericksburg woman and a vehicle driven by a 61-year-old Fredericksburg man. The Fredericksburg woman was wearing a seatbelt and reported no injuries. The Fredericksburg man was not wearing a seatbelt, sustained a suspected minor injury, and was transported via Life Lion EMS to Hershey Medical Center. Police charged the Fredericksburg woman with overtaking vehicle on the left.
East Hanover Township
Vehicle Accident, Accidents Involving Damage To Unattended Vehicle Or Property – At approximately 3:30 p.m. June 12, police responded to the 00 block of Groff Road for a single-vehicle crash vs. a boulder. Through further investigation, police learned that the driver of a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox, a 39-year-old Newport man exited the road via the right shoulder and struck a large boulder with its 1 o’clock position. The Chevrolet then traveled approximately 30 feet before it came to a controlled rest on the right shoulder. The man then fled the scene in an unknown direction. It is unknown whether he was wearing a seatbelt or sustained any injuries. Blatt and Tillett Towing also assisted on the scene. Police charged the driver with accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property.
Heidelberg Township
Vehicle Accident – At approximately 1:02 p.m. June 15, this crash occurred in front of the 3600 block of SR 897. A 2004 Honda CRV driven by a 29-year-old Lebanon man was traveling west along SR 897 near the above address. A deer jumped over a large fence and entered the road from the north side in front of the Honda. This was the point of initial impact. The Honda sustained damage to its front end and was towed from the scene. The deer continued south into the field, where it had been put down by the driver. The driver was wearing a seatbelt and reported no injuries. The Schaefferstown Fire Company also assisted on the scene.
Jackson Township
Hit-And-Run Crash – At 12:40 p.m. May 19, this hit-and-run crash occurred on South College Street, just north of Krall Road, as a 2013 Nissan Rogue driven by an 82-year-old Mount Gretna man failed to properly negotiate a left turn while inside the Hornings Market parking lot. The Nissan hit a 2018 Honda CRV driven by a 73-year-old Newmanstown woman. The operator failed to remain on the scene. It is unknown whether the Mt. Gretna man was wearing a seatbelt. The Newmanstown woman was not wearing a seatbelt. No injuries were reported. Neither vehicle required towing.
North Cornwall Township
False Identification To Police – At 6:32 p.m. May 22, police arrested Patricia Klepper, 36, of Lebanon, for providing false identification to police on Cumberland Street. Police took Klepper to LCCB for identification. Klepper was found to have an active warrant out of the Lebanon County Sheriff’s Office.
Retail Theft – At 3:19 p.m. May 25, police arrested Jessica Abarca, 29, of Harrisburg, for retail theft at Kohl’s.
Theft Of A Vehicle – At 6:21 p.m. May 25, police arrested Jessica Abarca, 29, of Harrisburg, for theft of a vehicle, which was stolen from the Xfinity store parking lot.
Vehicle Accident – At 2:24 p.m. May 25, a vehicle driven by a 59-year-old Cleona woman was traveling east on Penn Avenue. A vehicle driven by a 70-year-old Lebanon man was traveling west on Penn Avenue. The Lebanon man’s vehicle made a left turn in front of the Cleona woman’s vehicle, causing a collision. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Vehicle Accident – At 7:19 a.m. June 5, a vehicle driven by a 30-year-old Jonestown woman was traveling east on West Cumberland Street. The Jonestown woman reported that she did not see that the vehicles in front of her had stopped and, therefore, could not stop in time. The vehicle in front of the Jonestown woman’s vehicle was driven by a 29-year-old Lebanon woman. The Lebanon woman’s vehicle then also hit the vehicle in front of hers, driven by a 57-year-old Annville man. One person was transported to the hospital. One vehicle was towed from the scene.
Vehicle Accident – At 11:55 a.m. June 10, a vehicle driven by a 46-year-old Lebanon woman was traveling south on the 800 block of Dawson Street. The woman got distracted and struck a utility police. No injuries were reported. Her vehicle was towed from the scene.
Vehicle Accident – At 3:57 p.m. June 12, a vehicle driven by a 65-year-old Grantville man was traveling south on Colebrook Road, approaching the roundabout at Rocherty Road. The man was driving at an unsafe speed in a downpour and slid sideways, striking the roundabout curb. His vehicle sustained damage to its tires and was towed from the scene.
North Lebanon Township
Fleeing Or Attempting To Elude Officer – Police charged Jarrod Sales, 33, of Lebanon, with fleeing or attempting to elude officer and numerous violations after a traffic stop on Mount Zion Road on June 6.
DUI, Driving Without A License, Careless Driving – Police charged Felipe Vazquez-Vazquez, 51, of Lebanon, with DUI, driving without a license, and careless driving. Vazquez-Vazquez was involved in a crash on May 21, where he struck a home on the 700 block of Kimmerlings Road.
Drug Possession, Operating A Vehicle Without Inspection, Required Responsibility – Police charged Austin Davis, 20, of Lebanon, with possession of marijuana, operating a vehicle without inspection, required responsibility, evading arrest, and driving while suspended after a traffic stop on April 18 on the 1300 block of East Lehman Street.
Accident Involving Death Or Personal Injury While Not Properly Licensed – Police charged Vilma Picado-Ramos, 30, of Lebanon, with accident involving death or personal injury while not properly licensed after a crash on April 14 at the intersection of Weavertown Road and East Maple Street.
Bench Warrant – While on patrol on May 5, an officer pulled over a vehicle for a violation. The 27-year-old male driver had an active bench warrant out of the Lebanon County Sheriff’s Office. Police took the driver into custody without incident and transported him to LCCB.
Arrest Warrant – While on patrol on May 7, an officer recognized a subject that he was familiar with and knew he had an active warrant for his arrest out of Berks County. The officer stopped the 53-year-old male, took him into custody without incident, and transported him to LCCB.
Bench Warrant – On May 19, an officer pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation. The officer discovered that the 39-year-old male driver had a suspended driver’s license and an active bench warrant out for his arrest. Police took the driver into custody without incident and transported him to LCCB.
Click or Ticket – At 4:32 p.m. May 27, while participating in a Click or Ticket traffic detail on the 1300 block of East Lehman Street, police charged a 31-year-old Lebanon man after a traffic stop.
North Londonderry Township
Drug Possession – Police charged Jackeline Mercado-Crespo, 19, of Lebanon, and Chasity Nieves, 18, of Lebanon, with possession of drug paraphernalia after police made contact with them sleeping in a vehicle in the Walmart parking lot at 11:08 p.m. June 4.
Drug Possession – Police charged Christopher Lane, 29, of Palmyra, with possession of a small amount of marijuana after a traffic stop on Gravel Hill Road and Heather Lane at 2:27 a.m. April 14.
Palmyra Borough
Disorderly Conduct – At 11:25 p.m. June 3, police responded to the 00 block of Sycamore Lane for multiple reports of residents hearing gun shots. Police arrived on the scene and located no evidence of gunfire. Through further investigation, police determined that a 20-year-old woman was purposely causing her vehicle exhaust to backfire, causing the noise disturbance. A non-traffic citation for disorderly conduct-unreasonable noise was filed against Lawson.
Altered, Forged, Or Counterfeit Documents And Plates – At approximately 9:36 p.m. May 27, police pulled over a white Chevrolet van on the 00 block of South Forge Road. During the course of the traffic stop, police discovered that the inspection and emission stickers were altered. The driver, Jimmy Glassel, 52, admitted that he was the one who had altered the stickers. Police charged Glassel with altered, forged, or counterfeit documents and plates, violation of use of certificate of inspection, and registration and certificate of title required. The charges were filed through MDJ Garver’s office.
Richland Borough
Scattering Rubbish – At 5:20 a.m. June 15, police responded to the 200 block of Church Street for a report of a burnt sparkler left on the victim’s front step. The victim reported that the sparkler was thrown at his door sometime overnight by a suspected unknown juvenile. The victim’s property sustained no damage, and the burnt sparkler was safely disposed of. The victim was a 42-year-old Richland man. Anyone with any information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194.
South Annville Township
Vehicle Accident, Following Too Closely – At 6:19 p.m. June 9, this crash occurred as a 2016 Subaru Impreza driven by a 34-year-old Columbia woman and a 2011 Ford F-150XLT driven by a 56-year-old Jonestown man were traveling north on South White Oak Street, south of its intersection with Bender Road. The Jonestown man noticed two dogs in the road and immediately started to brake, not allowing the Columbia woman enough time to react. The Subaru struck the Ford with its 12 o’clock position at its 6 o’clock position. This was the point of initial impact. Both vehicles came to final rest on the right shoulder of the road, facing north, after the point of initial impact. No animals were injured. The Subaru sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. The Ford sustained functional damage and was able to leave the scene under its own power. Both operators were wearing seatbelts, reported no injuries, and denied medical treatment. Police charged the Columbia woman with following too closely.

Disorderly Conduct – Police charged a 15-year-old male with disorderly conduct for his involvement in a fight at the intersections of Poplar Street and South 3rd Street on June 7.

Disorderly Conduct – Police charged Carlos a 38-year-old Lebanon man with disorderly conduct for his involvement in a fight at the intersections of South 14th Avenue and King Street on June 10.
Disorderly Conduct – Police charged a 38-year-old Lebanon man with disorderly conduct for her involvement in a fight at the intersections of South 14th Avenue and King Street on June 10.
Disorderly Conduct – Police charged a 26-year-old Lebanon man with disorderly conduct for his involvement in a fight at the intersections of South 14th Avenue and King Street on June 10.
Bench Warrant – Jack Lehman, 21, is wanted for fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, driving without a license, and numerous other traffic offenses. The bench warrant was issued on June 1 after a traffic incident on Metro Drive.
Speed Limit Enforcement – The South Lebanon Township Police Department conducted a speed limit enforcement detail on South 5th Avenue. The detail took place on June 5 and 6. The results of the detail are below.
Union Township
Theft By Deception – At 7:42 p.m. June 10, police responded to the PSP Jonestown station lobby for a report of a theft. Through further investigation, police learned that the victim was deceived into purchasing gift cards and providing the card information to the actor. The victim was a 33-year-old Fredericksburg woman. The stolen property included Amazon gift cards valued at $25. Police are investigating.
Vehicle Accident, Following Too Closely – At approximately 6:47 p.m. June 12, police responded to SR 72 South, near Camp Meeting Road, for a two-vehicle crash. A 64-year-old Jonestown man, the driver of a 2002 Ford Ranger, was looking to the left at a used car dealership and did not notice a 2016 Nissan Altima driven by a 54-year-old Lebanon woman slowing down. The Ford struck the rear end of the Nissan. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. The Jonestown man reported no injuries. The Lebanon woman sustained a suspected minor injury and was transported via Life Lion EMS to the hospital for further evaluation. Police charged the Jonestown man with following too closely.
