Bethel Township

Theft By Deception – At 1:58 p.m. June 17, police took a report of potential fraud. The victim made a purchase on Facebook Marketplace but never received the item, and the seller ceased communication. The victim was a 36-year-old Fredericksburg man.

Vehicle Accident, Stop Signs And Yield Signs – At 2:47 a.m. June 19, this crash occurred at the intersection of SR 22 and Mount Zion Road. A 2007 Honda Accord driven by a 22-year-old Allentown man was traveling east on SR 22. The man fell asleep behind the wheel, and the Honda continued through the intersection, striking a fence on the left side of the road. The Honda then rolled over. The man was wearing a seatbelt and reported no injuries. Police him Vargas with stop signs and yield signs.

City of Lebanon

Drug Possession – Police charged Alfredo Ortiz, 27, with one count of possession of marijuana and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia after he was found on the 600 block of North 8th Street in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on June 13.

Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest – Police charged a 24-year-old woman with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after she created a disturbance outside a residence on the 100 block of Lebanon Village on June 13. She then resisted officers’ attempts to place her under arrest.

Retail Theft – Police arrested Invalis Maturell-Bubaire, 55, on June 15 on the 800 block of South 12th Street and charged her with one count of retail theft after she was identified as a subject in thefts from Feb. 6, 2023, to May 3, 2023. Maturell-Bubaire is charged with stealing $557 worth of merchandise.

Retail Theft – Police arrested Jorge Pereira-Sepulveda, 34, on June 15 on the 800 block of South 12th Street and charged him with one count of retail theft after he was identified as a subject in three separate thefts at Weis Market. Pereira-Sepulveda is charged with stealing $910 worth of merchandise.

Firearms Not To Be Carried Without License, Drug Possession – Police charged Miguel Sepulveda-Cumba, 24, with one count of firearms not to be carried without license and possession of a small amount of marijuana after a traffic stop on June 13 on the 600 block of North 8th Street. Sepulveda-Cumba was found in possession of a firearm and a small amount of marijuana.

Jackson Township

Vehicle Accident – At 4:05 p.m. June 17, a 2007 Harley-Davidson Street Glide driven by Erich Ebling, 64, of Myerstown, was traveling south on Hergelrode Drive. The Harley-Davidson came over the crest of the hill and struck a 35 mph speed limit sign located on a property on the 100 block of Hergelrode Drive. The Harley-Davidson then drove onto the grass, and Ebling was ejected from the motorcycle. Ebling landed with his back up against the residence. The Harley-Davidson was lying approximately 20 feet from him. Ebling was wearing a motorcycle helmet, sustained an injury of unknown severity, and was transported via First Aid & Safety Patrol of Lebanon to Reading Hospital. The Harley-Davidson sustained functional damage and was towed from the scene by Zimmeys Towing. DUI charges against Ebling are pending investigation.

Criminal Mischief Under $1,000 – At 3:34 p.m. June 19, police responded to Stracks Dam Road for a report of criminal mischief. Upon arrival on the scene, the victim reported that at approximately 6:30 a.m. June 19, she discovered a small hole in the front window of her residence. Police observed the physical damage, valued at $250, in the form of a hole in the front storm window of her residence, consistent with that of a bb, possibly from a bb gun. There was no video surveillance at or around the residence. A neighborhood canvass was conducted with negative results for leads or information. The victim was provided with a Victim/Witness rights guide, which contains the police incident report number for her to provide the homeowner’s insurance company. The victim was a 79-year-old Myerstown woman. Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194.

DUI Crash – At 4:05 p.m. June 17, police arrested the subject, Erich Ebling, 64, of Myerstown, for DUI. This incident occurred on the 100 block of Hergelrode Drive.

Myerstown Borough

Vehicle Accident, Vehicle Turning Left, Driving While Suspended – At approximately 7:35 p.m. June 10, police responded to a crash at South Railroad Street at its intersection with East Maple Avenue. At approximately 7:10 p.m. June 10, Lebanon County EMA contacted PSP Jonestown to report a crash involving a 2012 Honda Civic driven by a 17-year-old Myerstown female and a 2000 Buell Motor X1 Lightning driven by a 34-year-old Myerstown man that occurred at the above-listed intersection. The juvenile was wearing a seatbelt and reported no injuries. The man was wearing a motorcycle helmet, sustained an injury of unknown severity, and was transported via Myerstown First Aid Unit to Hershey Medical Center. Life Lion EMS and Myerstown Fire and Fire Police also assisted on the scene. Police charged the juvenile with vehicle turning left. Police charged him with driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked.

North Annville Township

Vehicle Accident, Stop Signs And Yield Signs – At 5:07 p.m. June 18, this crash occurred as a 2007 Chevrolet Equinox driven by an 81-year-old Palmyra woman was traveling west on Kauffman Road. A 2001 Harley-Davidson Road King Classic driven by a 67-year-old Annville man was traveling south on SR 934. The Chevrolet came to a stop at the stop sign located at the intersection of Kauffman Road and SR 934 and proceeded without proper clearance. The Harley-Davidson remained in its lane and was struck by the Chevrolet at the intersection. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage. The Chevrolet came to final rest in the area of the crash. The Harley-Davidson came to final rest approximately 20 feet from the area of the crash. The Palmyra woman was wearing a seatbelt, sustained a suspected minor injury, and was transported via Life Lion EMS to Hershey Medical Center. he Annville man was wearing a motorcycle helmet, sustained a suspected minor injury, and was transported via Life Lion EMS to Hershey Medical Center. Police charged the Palmyra woman with stop signs and yield signs.

Vehicle Accident, Driving On Roadways Laned For Traffic – At 5:34 a.m. June 22, this single-vehicle crash occurred as a 1989 Jeep Wrangler driven by a 40-year-old Annville man was traveling north on Clear Spring Road. The Jeep failed to negotiate its lane upon a left curve. The Jeep exited the road on the right shoulder and overturned, coming to final rest on its roof, facing east, in a grass area. The Jeep sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. The Annville man was wearing a seatbelt, sustained a suspected minor injury, and was transported via Life Lion EMS to Hershey Medical Center. Police charged him with driving on roadways laned for traffic.

North Londonderry Township

Drug Delivery Resulting In Death, Criminal Use Of A Communication Facility – The North Londonderry Township Police Department charged Christian Garcia, 24, of Highspire, with drug delivery resulting in death, manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, criminal use of a communication facility, and involuntary manslaughter for his involvement in the death of Sergio Prieto Aguilar, 24, of Annville. Prieto Aguilar died on the 00 block of Abbey Lane at 11:06 a.m. Oct. 14, 2021, due to a fentanyl drug overdose, and it is alleged that Garcia supplied said fentanyl. Garcia was taken into custody by members of the U.S. Marshals and the PSP Fugitive Apprehension Task Force and transported to LCCB. Bail was denied.

Palmyra Borough

Disorderly Conduct – At 11:17 a.m. June 7, police responded to the 300 block of West Main Street for a reported disturbance. Police observed a 49-year-old woman arguing with another subject. Fisher was screaming, swearing, and walking across SR 422, causing multiple vehicles to slow down or stop. The woman was detained and eventually released to her residence once it was safe to do so. On June 8, a non-traffic citation for disorderly conduct was filed against the woman through MDJ Garver’s office.

Public Drunkenness – At 1:14 a.m. June 13, while on patrol, police observed a female subject staggering and swaying as she walked on the 00 block of East Main Street. Officers were able to identify the subject as a 44-year-old woman. The woman was found to be under the influence of alcohol to the degree that she was a danger to herself and others. A charge for public drunkenness against her was filed through the MDJ’s office.

Bench Warrant, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct – At 5:48 p.m. June 14, police located Joseph Gooden, 36, on the 600 block of East Main Street. Gooden was known to have a bench warrant out of Lebanon County for failure to appear. When police attempted to arrest Gooden on the warrant, he actively resisted arrest and began yelling and causing a scene. Gooden was placed under arrest for the warrant and transported to LCCB. Separate charges were filed for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Gooden was then placed in LCCF on $5,000 secured bond.

Drug Delivery Resulting In Death, Delivery Of A Controlled Substance – At approximately 12:16 p.m. July 16, police responded to the 200 block of North College Street for a drug overdose. The victim, a 27-year-old man, was pronounced dead on the scene. An autopsy indicated that the victim died from fentanyl and morphine toxicity. The toxicology report indicated that the victim had enough fentanyl in his system to cause the death of nearly 30 adults. Through a lengthy investigation, police determined that Tyler Singer, 27, of Palmyra, had delivered fentanyl to the victim on several occasions, including less than an hour before the victim’s death. On June 20, police arrested Singer on charges of drug delivery resulting in death, one count of delivery of a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication facility, and involuntary manslaughter. Singer was arraigned on June 21 by MDJ Kim Wolf, with bail being set at $500,000. Singer was remanded to LCCF to await trial.

Bench Warrant – On June 22, police arrested Edward Fearbry, 34, on the 300 block of West Main Street for having an active bench warrant for failure to appear, with the original charge being possession of drug paraphernalia. Police transported Fearbry to LCCB without issue.

DUI, Driving On Right Side Of Roadway, Driving Within Single Lane – At 10:59 a.m. April 20, police pulled over a vehicle on the 600 block of East Main Street for driving into the opposite lane. Police identified the driver as Sarah Burberg, 45. Burberg was determined to be under the influence of prescription medication to the point that she fell asleep and could not safely drive. On June 9, charges were filed against Burberg for DUI-drug impaired ability and two summary traffic violations.

South Lebanon Township

Drug Possession, Accident Involving Damage To Unattended Vehicle Or Property – At approximately 2:40 a.m. June 18, police pulled over a vehicle on South 5th Avenue and Klein Avenue after observing it strike a stop sign and fail to stop. Police charged the driver, a 24-year-old man, with possession of drug paraphernalia, one count of accident involving damage to unattended vehicle or property, and required financial responsibility.

Union Township

Theft Of Vehicle Parts – On June 17, police responded to the 10600 block of Allentown Boulevard for a report of catalytic converters, valued at $300, being stolen off of multiple vehicles, including a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier and a 1999 Ford Taurus Taurus X, likely within the past two months. The victim was a 35-year-old Fredericksburg man. Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194.
