Coleman Memorial Park’s Rockin’ the Park Summer Concert Series is back with performances in July and August that you’re not going to want to miss. Join us for the best of rock, pop, and dance music from the 60s to the present with Run for Cover on Saturday, July 8. Then, on Saturday, August 12, enjoy a performance by Andy Alonso & Friends, killer musicians with humor aplenty.
Both performances will begin at 6:30 p.m. with gates opening at 6 p.m. and admission is $10 per person. Additionally, the park’s concession stand will be open for snacks and local brewers will be in attendance at both concerts, should you need a drink or two. Wolf Brewing Co. will be serving up their artfully crafted, small batch brews for the July concert, and Rotunda Brewing Company will be over from the heart of Annville to supply drinks in August. Of course, brews are only for concertgoers 21 and over.
Once the former estate of Pennsylvania’s first millionaire, Robert Coleman, the park holds much of the legacy of the Coleman family and over half of the acreage remains a nature forest in which some of the oldest and largest trees in the state can be seen. There are also plenty of walking trails, picnic areas, and bird watching spots to enjoy before the concert.
So, bring your lawn chairs and blankets and we’ll supply the music at the Veteran’s Amphitheater in historic Coleman Memorial Park, just two nights only this summer! As the former grand estate, the park has a rich history that can still be seen today, making it a perfect location for a night of music under the trees. And with performances by local legends in Run for Cover and Andy Alonso & Friends, these shows are the perfect way to make a night out in the Lebanon Valley.
