Editor’s Note: Last year, Michael and Nicole Borrell began reviewing Lebanon Valley’s restaurants and eating attractions as the Lebanon Valley Food Critics. Since then, the couple has aimed to offer unbiased reviews of the eating and drinking establishments the Lebanon Valley has to offer. LebTown is pleased to be partnering with LVFC to share these reviews with our readers. Bon appétit!

Welcome to the first season of our highly anticipated Lebanon Valley Steak Wars. Three entrants from the Valley will compete to be declared the winner of Best Steak in The Valley.

Our judgement will be based upon several factors including cooking/preparation of the steak, seasoning, quality, and overall critic impression.

We got to taste a good sampling of some quality steaks around the Valley. We were surprised by some and impressed by others. Each cut was amazing and well prepared.

The critic crew is proud to declare our winner of our first ever Steak Wars as Tony’s Mining Company! They provide a high quality steak that is prepared and presented elegantly. They also include sides that accentuate the flavor enhancement.
