LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.

Our Pet of the Week sometimes is a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the weekly column will spotlight an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.

This week, meet adoptable Panther!

Panther is a domestic shorthair cat, and he’s up to date on his shots, a spokesperson at the Humane Society of Lebanon County told LebTown.

“We would like to introduce you to this sleek independent house panther!” the shelter rep said. “Panther was found in the city of Lebanon in the streets walking around.”

Although he is “very independent,” he does enjoy getting pets, the rep said. “He is shy at first but does adjust given some time. Adventure calls his name as he loves to climb in boxes and explore all places. Panther loves attention, canned food, treats & to be held.”

If you are interested in adopting Panther, please fill out the adoption application online at lebanonhumane.org or call the Humane Society at 717-628-1369 for more information.
