City of Lebanon

Shooting Investigation – At 7:47 p.m. Oct. 21, police responded to the 900 block of Lehman Street for a shooting and located two victims: a 25-year-old man and a 30-year-old man. Both men had gunshot wounds to their lower extremities and were transported to a Dauphin County Medical Facility for treatment. Police determined that an argument escalated into a fight and ended with gunshots being fired. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Lebanon city police.

Update: Lebanon city police identified Gavin Rodriguez, 19, as the shooter and obtained a warrant for his arrest. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the city police or submit a tip through CRIMEWATCH.

Arrest Warrant – On Oct. 26, police issued an arrest warrant against Daniel Blatt, 49, with the original charge being one count of theft by unlawful taking.

Attempted Vehicle Entries and Prowling – At approximately 1:30 a.m. Oct. 25, police received a report of two subjects wearing masks who were trying to get into cars on the 100 block of South 2nd Street. Police remind residents to remove valuables from their vehicles and lock them when they are unoccupied. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Lebanon city police or submit a tip through CRIMEWATCH. The two suspects are pictured below fleeing the area.

East Hanover Township

Assault with a Weapon – At 3:50 a.m. Oct. 26, police responded to Appalachian Drive for a report of domestic violence where the victim, a 59-year-old Grantville man, was stabbed with a knife by his girlfriend, a 50-year-old Grantville woman. The victim reported he was stabbed while he was in bed and presented a puncture wound on the right side of his torso. The injury was deemed non-life-threatening. A black-and-silver kitchen knife was seized on the scene. Police charged the girlfriend with aggravated assault, simple assault, and recklessly endangering the life of another person. Bail was set at $40,000. Pennsylvania State Police did not name the woman in their release.

Jackson Township

Theft of Lost/Mislaid Property – At 9:31 p.m. Oct. 24, someone stole a OnePlus Nord N200 cellphone, valued at $200, belonging to a 39-year-old Myerstown man, on West Lincoln Avenue.

North Cornwall Township

Vehicle Accident – At 3:08 p.m. Sept. 13, police responded to Quentin Road for a crash with injuries. A westbound vehicle was stopped at the intersection with Isabel Drive, then proceeded onto the road and collided with a second vehicle driven by a 23-year-old driver from Lebanon. Both vehicles were towed from the scene and the drivers were transported to the hospital.

Drug Possession – At 1:30 a.m. Oct. 4, police arrested a 27-year-old Lebanon man on Walnut Street for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Drug Possession – At 1:32 a.m. Oct. 7, police arrested Dane Paxton, 59, of Lebanon, on South 19th Street for possession of a controlled substance.

Driving While Suspended, Unregistered Vehicle – At 4:47 p.m. Oct. 8, police arrested Jonathan Sheehan, 37, of Lebanon, at Target for driving while operating privilege is suspended and driving an unregistered vehicle.

Warrants – At 12:57 a.m. Oct. 8, police pulled over a vehicle driven by Soe Naing, 21, of Philadelphia, on Rocherty Road. Police discovered that Naing had two warrants, one from Ohio and the other from Maryland. Naing was taken into custody without incident and transported to LCCB to be extradited.

Harassment – At 11:26 p.m. Oct. 14, police charged a 38-year-old Lebanon man for harassment after an incident on 22nd Street.

Simple Assault – At 4:23 p.m. Oct. 15, police arrested Tyler Clark, 19, of Lebanon, for simple assault after an incident on Village Court.

Vehicle Accident – At 6:11 a.m. Oct. 24, a vehicle driven by a 27-year-old Lebanon man was traveling south on Colebrook Road when it struck a deer. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Vehicle Accident – At 7:02 a.m. Oct. 24, police responded to Cornwall Road for a two-vehicle crash. Vehicles were driven by a 41-year-old Lebanon man and a 77-year-old Lebanon man. There were no injuries.

North Londonderry Township

Theft by Unlawful Taking – Police charged Lindsay Reddinger, 37, of Jonestown, with theft by unlawful taking. Reddinger allegedly copied down the victim’s routing and checking account numbers, then used the victim’s checking account to pay off credit cards. Reddinger made seven payments totaling $1,045.90.

Vehicle Accident, Vehicle Turning Left – Police charged a 70-year-old Palmyra woman with vehicle turning left in connection with a crash that occurred at 12:38 p.m. Oct. 24 at the intersection of Lingle Avenue and Cambridge Road. Davidson was driving a vehicle that turned left in front of another vehicle driven by a 23-year-old Palmyra woman, who was unable to stop her vehicle and struck the 70-year-old woman’s vehicle. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Zimmy’s Automotive. The Palmyra Fire Department and several EMS agencies assisted on the scene.

Palmyra Borough

Defiant Trespass – At approximately 7:13 a.m. Oct. 20, police responded to the graveyard at Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, 35 Gravel Hill Road, for a trespasser. Police found a 39-year-old man on the property and charged him with summary defiant trespass.

Bench Warrant – At approximately 8:18 a.m. Oct. 17, police responded to Oldie’s Laundromat, at 50 N. Railroad St., for a report of loitering. Police identified the suspect as Charles Sorcsek Jr., 59, who was determined to have an active bench warrant out of Dauphin County for a probation violation. He was taken into custody on the warrant and was transported to LCCB.

Defiant Trespass – At approximately 7:21 p.m. Oct. 1, police responded to the 900 block of East Maple Street, where the victim reported that Jeremy Gulliver, 46, had come onto her property despite being served with a letter of trespass. Police made contact with Gulliver, who admitted to being on the victim’s property. On Oct. 9, a criminal complaint was filed through MDJ Garver’s office, charging Gulliver with misdemeanor defiant trespass.

Simple Assault, Harassment – At approximately 1:42 p.m. Oct. 8, police responded to the 700 block of West Main Street for a domestic dispute. Police determined that Britney Kohl, 27, assaulted the victim by punching and biting him and pulling his hair, causing visible injuries. Kohl was taken into custody and a criminal complaint was prepared, charging Kohl with one count of misdemeanor simple assault (domestic violence-related) and one count of summary harassment. Kohl was arraigned before MDJ Garver and transported to LCCB.

Arrest Prior to Requisition – At approximately 9:37 a.m. Oct. 8, a Palmyra Borough police officer was flagged down on the 600 block of East Main Street by Eric Whitney, 21, who told the officer that he stole the truck he was driving in Virginia and wished to turn himself in. The Botetourt County Sheriff’s Department in Virginia contacted the owner of the truck, who confirmed his truck was missing. A criminal complaint was prepared by Palmyra Borough police, charging Whitney with one count of arrest prior to requisition – fugitive from justice. Whitney was transported to LCCB on the complaint.

South Lebanon Township

Arrest Warrant – On Oct. 19, South Lebanon Township police issued an arrest warrant against Dominick Lopez, 22, after he attempted to purchase a firearm from Shyda’s Outdoor Center, at 1635 S. Lincoln Ave., while not being able to legally do so.

Unsworn Falsification to Authorities – On April 26, 2022, Tim Manning, 59, attempted to purchase a firearm at Shyda’s Outdoor Center, at 1635 S. Lincoln Ave., while not being legally permitted to do so. Police charged Manning with unsworn falsification to authorities.

Unsworn Falsification to Authorities – On May 16, 2022, Ericberto Rios, 34, attempted to purchase a firearm at Dunham’s Sports, at 829 E. Walnut St., while not being legally permitted to do so. Police charged Rios with unsworn falsification to authorities.

South Londonderry Township

Vehicle Accident – At 7:31 a.m. Oct. 23, a Jeep Compass driven by a 35-year-old Palmyra woman pulled out from Smith Lane onto South Forge Road and into the path of a Chevrolet Cobalt driven by a Mount Joy woman. No injuries were reported. The Chevrolet had to be towed from the scene.

Vehicle Accident – At 9:04 a.m. Oct. 23, a Chevrolet Camaro crashed and rolled over on the 5500 block of Elizabethtown Road after the 27-year-old driver from Mount Gretna fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle struck an embankment and a mailbox. Minor injuries were reported. The Chevrolet had to be towed.

DUI Crash, Driving While Suspended, Leaving Scene of Accident – At 1:43 p.m. Oct. 7, police investigated a hit-and-run crash where police learned that Michael Shaud, 39, of Lebanon, had struck mailboxes on the 00 block of Landings Drive and left the scene of the accident. Shaud failed to notify the owner and did not report the accident to the police. Police charged Shaud with DUI, driving while suspended, leaving the scene of an accident, and failure to report an accident.

No Dog License, No Rabies Vaccination, Dog Running at Large – At 4:16 p.m. Sept. 26, police investigated a dog running at large on the 200 block of Chesterfield Drive. Police learned that the dog was owned by a 40-year-old Palmyra man and was not licensed or vaccinated as required by state law. Police charged him with no dog license, no rabies vaccination, and a dog running at large.

Union Township

Firearm Found – At 2:30 p.m. Oct. 9, the complainant picked up a 2011 Ford F-150XLT for the Manheim Auto Auction in New Jersey. When he got it back to the auction, he found a firearm behind the driver’s seat.
