Visit Lebanon Valley, the official tourism office for Lebanon County, has rolled out a new edition of their Holiday Gift Guide which features a range of gift ideas from businesses across the county. The guide has ideas for foodies and homebodies as well as suggestions for stocking stuffers and experiences to remember.

One such business featured in the guide is MG Mercantile, “a shop-able Mount Gretna cottage where you can find specialty groceries, stock-the-bar goodies and curated gifts to treat your loved ones…or yourself!” says owner Tanya Mann. “We truly delight in welcoming our shoppers and hope they feel like guests when they visit.”

The guide not only provides gift ideas, but it also encourages consumers to shop locally and support small businesses. According to a study by American Express, for every dollar spent at a small business, 67 cents stays in the local community. “By shopping local you create jobs, keep money in the local economy and nurture a sense of community,” says Visit Lebanon Valley President Jennifer Kuzo.

For those who would rather give the gift of an experience, the guide also features places like Iron Valley Tubing, “The perfect winter activity for the whole family!” as stated by Iron Valley’s Brooke Dove. “With both a large hill and a kiddie hill, it’s a place everyone can enjoy.”

Found on the web and available all year long, the guide’s curated collection of gift ideas is separated into four categories, each with photos and links, for easy navigation. Check out the gift guide at https://visitlebanonvalley.com/gift-guides/.
