United Way of Lebanon County wants to share an amazing opportunity to recognize an individual who goes above and beyond in support of our neighbors in need in the Lebanon County community.
Nominations will be accepted through Dec. 22 for the Leonard Washington Community Service Award. A $1,000 donation will be made to the award recipient’s nonprofit of choice.
This award recognizes the hard work and dedication of an individual who stands out by the nature of their commitment and the integrity of their character; is committed to making a difference in the community; recognizes service as the foundation of the organization and rewards come from giving; demonstrates unwavering determination and hard work; and has provided significant unheralded contributions to our local community.
Throughout his life, Leonard Washington demonstrated selfless service. With the support of the Washington family, we look forward to honoring his legacy through this annual award in his name.
