Arrest warrant – On Jan. 18, police issued an arrest warrant against James Stubbs, 70, with the original charge being DUI.

Arrest warrant – On Jan. 18, police issued an arrest warrant against Amaiya Prude-Wilkerson, 20, with an original charge of receiving stolen property.

Arrest warrant – On Jan. 18, police issued an arrest warrant against Allen Hower, 19, with the original charge being possession of controlled substance.

Store burglary – At approximately 10:54 p.m. Jan. 14, a thief (pictured below) broke into the 4 Way Corner Store, 601 Cumberland St., and stole merchandise. The suspect has a black and blue right eye, according to police. Anyone with information is asked to contact Lebanon city police or submit a tip through CRIMEWATCH.

Heidelberg Township

Vehicle accident – At 2:55 p.m. Jan. 8, a 2022 Freightliner Sprinter driven by a 39-year-old man of High Point, North Carolina, struck a fence on a property on the 1400 block of Heidelberg Avenue while attempting to turn right onto South Church Hill Road. The 53-foot trailer struck a fence on the right side, causing significant damage. The man was wearing a seatbelt and reported no injuries. The Freightliner was able to leave the scene under its own power. Police charged the High Point man with driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Jackson Township

DUI – At 10:24 p.m. Jan. 12, a 29-year-old Paxtang man operated a 2009 Saturn while under the influence of controlled substance, which were in his possession during an incident on South Ramona Road and King Street.

North Cornwall Township

Drug possession – At 7:10 a.m. Sept. 28, police charged John Harvey, 38, of Lebanon, with alleged possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on Walnut Street.

DUI – At approximately 7:48 p.m. Oct. 23, police arrested Tyler Greenawalt, 30, of Annville, for an alleged DUI on Chestnut Street.

Criminal trespass – At 4:14 p.m. Dec. 4, police charged a 55-year-old Lebanon man with criminal trespass at Speedway on Cumberland Street.

Simple assault – At 11:10 p.m. Dec. 31, police arrested John Spooner, 43, of Lebanon, for simple assault on Washington Street.

Drug possession – At 4:49 p.m. Jan. 5, police arrested Heather Boyer, 32, of Fredericksburg, for possession of drug paraphernalia on Chestnut Street.

Simple assault – At 7:51 p.m. Jan. 7, police charged David Jacques, 50, of Lebanon, with simple assault on Center Street.

North Lebanon Township

DUI – At 1:58 a.m. Jan. 14, a 44-year-old Tampa, Florida, woman operated a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol on SR 72 North and Long Lane.

North Londonderry Township

Vehicle accident – At 12:05 p.m. Jan. 7, police charged a 60-year-old Palmyra man with driving vehicle at safe speed after he was unable to complete a turn from Fir Street onto Colony Drive due to the wet road. The man’s vehicle struck a curb, causing damage to the front passenger’s side wheel. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Palmyra Borough

Theft by unlawful taking – On Jan. 16, police filed charges of felony theft by unlawful taking (vehicle), misdemeanor unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, summary driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked, and summary driving without a license against Adam Loehr, 34, through MDJ Warner’s office. Charges stem from an incident reported June 4, when Loehr was accused of stealing a vehicle on the 00 block of North Grant Street.

Criminal trespass – At approximately 5:37 p.m. Jan. 10, police responded to the 400 block of West Main Street for a report of a subject in a shared basement, which should have been unoccupied. Police located Donovan Davis, 22, on the property. Davis was given notice of trespass for this property in October 2023. Police took him into custody and transported him to LCCB to await arraignment on a charge of misdemeanor criminal trespass-defiant.

Theft by unlawful taking – On Jan. 16, police filed charges of felony theft by unlawful taking (vehicle) and felony criminal mischief against Stanford Gilbert, 56, through MDJ Warner’s office. Charges stem from an investigation into an incident reported Aug. 25, when Gilbert was accused of stealing a motorcycle on the 500 block of East Main Street and causing an estimated $10,865.48 worth of damage to the motorcycle.

South Lebanon Township

Drug possession – At approximately 11:07 a.m. Dec. 31, police pulled over a vehicle on the 500 block of East Cumberland Street and learned that the driver, Christopher Bernard, 50, was in possession of controlled substance. Police charged him with misdemeanor possession of a small amount of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Retail theft, criminal conspiracy – On Dec. 4, police responded to Home Depot, 801 E. Walnut St., where 30 cases of laminate flooring and a large toolbox had been removed from the store without being paid for. The total value of the stolen merchandise was $3,796.38. Police charged Marvin Morales-De Paz, 33, Sebastian Solomon-Lajuj, 30, and Abraham Dayger-Enrique, 24, with felony retail theft and felony criminal conspiracy.

Unsworn falsification to authorities – On Dec. 5, 2022, Megan Weatherill, 40, attempted to purchase a firearm at Dunham’s Sporting Goods, 829 E. Walnut St., while not being legally permitted to do so. Police charged Weatherill with misdemeanor unsworn falsification to authorities.

Drug possession – At approximately 10:34 p.m. Jan. 7, police pulled over a vehicle on South Lincoln Avenue and learned that a passenger, Kyra Coleman, 23, was in possession of illegal narcotics. Police charged Coleman with misdemeanor possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use.

Sale or transfer of firearms – On Dec. 9, 2022, Chad Miller, 45, attempted to purchase a firearm at Shyda’s Outdoor Center, 1635 S. Lincoln Ave., while not being legally permitted to do so. Police charged Miller with felony sale or transfer of firearms.

Swatara Township

DUI crash – At 8:58 a.m. Jan. 3, a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by a 33-year-old Johnstown woman was traveling south on SR 72. A 2010 Toyota Camry driven by Kevin Pagan, 30, of Lebanon, was traveling north in the south lane, passing other vehicles. The Hyundai crested a hill and observed the Toyota approaching. Both vehicles swerved, and the Toyota struck the Hyundai on the passenger’s side. The Toyota fled the scene. The Hyundai sustained disabling damage. The Johnstown woman was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries. It is unknown whether Pagan was wearing a seatbelt or sustained any injuries. Pagan was apprehended a short time later and taken into custody for DUI.
