LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.

Our Pet of the Week sometimes is a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the weekly column will spotlight an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.

This week, meet adoptable Rue!

“Rue and her babies were found as strays and brought to us,” a Humane Society of Lebanon County representative told LebTown. She is estimated to be around 3 or 4 years old.

“Rue is a sweet little lady and loves to give the humans she trusts head rubs and affection!” the shelter rep said. “She loves to eat and is often found with her food bowl empty – and who can resist giving treats to those big beautiful eyes? She is a princess and she knows it, and is desperately seeking a home to call her castle.”

If you are interested in adopting Rue, please fill out the adoption application online at lebanonhumane.org or call the Humane Society at 717-628-1369 for more information.
