Bethel Township
Vehicle accident, driving while suspended – At 10:42 a.m. Jan. 30, a 2011 BMW 328I driven by an 18-year-old Fredericksburg woman stopped at the intersection of South Pine Grove Street and East Main Avenue and began to proceed through the intersection, attempting to make a left turn, when it was struck by a 2012 Volkswagen GTI driven by a 19-year-old Jonestown man. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and sustained no injuries. Police charged the Jonestown man with driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked.
Vehicle accident, following too closely – At 2:02 p.m. Jan. 30, a 2016 Hyundai Accent driven by a 62-year-old Fredericksburg woman and a 1991 Grumman LLV driven by a 57-year-old Lebanon woman were traveling south on South Pine Grove Street. The Grumman was slowing down, attempting to make a left turn into a private driveway, when it was struck by the Hyundai. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and sustained no injuries. Police charged the Fredericksburg woman with following too closely.
City of Lebanon
Arrest warrant – On Jan. 26, police issued an arrest warrant against Elizabeth Harnish, 32, with the original charge being possession of a controlled substance.
Arrest warrant – On Jan. 26, police issued an arrest warrant against Tyshaun Haynes, 32, with the original charge being disorderly conduct.
Arrest warrant – On Feb. 8, police issued an arrest warrant against Adrianne Speraw, 44, with the original charge being theft.
Arrest warrant – On Feb. 7, police issued an arrest warrant against Victor Manuel Rivera, 36, with the original charge being fleeing or attempting to elude an officer.
Catalytic converter thefts – During the overnight hours of Feb. 5, there were multiple catalytic converter thefts on the north side, mostly the northeast portion, of the city. Video surveillance footage was obtained from the 400 block of North 5th Street. Pictures of the suspect vehicle are below. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Lebanon City Police Department or submit a tip through CRIMEWATCH.
East Hanover Township
Vehicle accident – At 9:38 p.m. Jan. 30, a 2018 Nissan Armada was traveling west on Jonestown Road when it struck a cow on the road. The Nissan sustained damage to its front left bumper and was still operational. No injuries were reported.
Overdose – At 11:50 p.m. Jan. 27, a person overdosed on a controlled substance on Allentown Boulevard and was transported to Hershey Medical Center for treatment.
Jackson Township
Drug possession – At 10:45 p.m. Jan. 27, a 36-year-old Myerstown man possessed drug paraphernalia on Park View Drive.
Theft – Police are investigating an incident that occurred around 11:54 a.m. Jan. 28 on the 400 block of East Main Street in which someone stole cash from a 53-year-old Myerstown woman’s wallet and coffee table, made two ATM withdrawals from her bank account, and purchased gas at Turkey Hill.
North Cornwall Township
DUI, drug possession – At 7:18 p.m. Dec. 22, police charged Raymond Levan, 38, of Lebanon, with alleged DUI and possession of a controlled substance after an incident at the Sheetz on Rocherty Road.
DUI, careless driving, operating a vehicle without Ignition Interlock, fleeing and eluding – Around 9:53 a.m. Jan. 18, police arrested Emily Hooper, 32, of Lebanon, for alleged DUI, careless driving, operating a vehicle without Ignition Interlock, and fleeing and eluding on Country Club View Road.
Vehicle accident – Around 3:43 p.m. Jan. 20, a 21-year-old Newmanstown man lost control of his vehicle in the snow while entering a roundabout near Colebrook and Rocherty roads. The vehicle struck a curb and a sign. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Hit-and-run, driving without a license – Around 12:45 p.m. Jan. 21, police charged Jeffrey Perez-Aquino, 24, of Lebanon, with hit-and-run and driving while suspended and without a license after a crash on Quentin Road.
Vehicle accident – At 8:38 a.m. Jan. 22, a two-vehicle crash occurred on West Cumberland and 22nd streets. One vehicle had front-end damage and was towed from the scene. One person was evaluated at the scene.
Vehicle accident – Police responded to Isabel Drive and Quentin Road for a two-vehicle crash. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
North Lebanon Township
Retail theft – Police charged Isaac Shedrick, of Lebanon, with retail theft after he failed to pay for $505 worth of merchandise at Walmart on Jan. 2.
Retail theft – Police charged Isaac Shedrick, of Lebanon, with retail theft after he failed to pay for $274.98 worth of merchandise at Walmart on Jan. 5.
Retail theft – Police charged Isaac Shedrick, of Lebanon, with retail theft after he failed to pay for $168 worth of merchandise at Walmart on Dec. 22.
Retail theft – Police charged John Nguyen, of Lebanon, with retail theft after he failed to pay for $29.77 worth of merchandise.
South Lebanon Township
Drug possession, operating a vehicle without Ignition Interlock and inspection – Around 2:02 p.m. Feb. 1, police stopped a vehicle driven by Jonathan Maldonado, 36, on the 700 block of East Walnut Street for a traffic violation. A roadside investigation revealed that Maldonado was not operating a vehicle equipped with Ignition Interlock, as required by his driver’s license restrictions. He was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Police charged Maldonado with operating a vehicle without Ignition Interlock, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating a vehicle without a valid inspection.
South Londonderry Township
Vehicle accident, driving on roadways laned for traffic – At 7:49 p.m. Jan. 31, a vehicle driven by a 36-year-old Elizabethtown man left the road on the 5300 block of Elizabethtown Road and struck a utility pole. The Elizabethtown man was not injured. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Police charged him with driving on roadways laned for traffic.
West Lebanon Township
Theft by unlawful taking – Police charged Angel Regaldado-Avila, of Lebanon, with theft by unlawful taking after removing an iPhone 11, valued at $800, from Brentwood Industries on Jan. 30.
