King of Prussia-based Sila Services, LLC, has acquired ECS Comfort Heating & Cooling, a Palmyra-based company known for its residential and light commercial HVAC services in Lebanon, Dauphin, and Lancaster counties.
This acquisition marks a significant expansion for Sila Services in the Central Pennsylvania area. Sila Services was acquired by Morgan Stanley Capital Partners in May 2021 and has grown significantly through acquisitions since then, now operating 25 brands across 32 markets in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest regions.
“We are pleased to take this significant step in further expanding our footprint in the Central Pennsylvania region with the acquisition of ECS Comfort Heating & Cooling,” said Jason Rabbino, CEO of Sila Services, in a press release.
BizNewsPA spoke with Andrew Sattazahn, who said that he is staying on as general manager and a co-owner, and that the company will continue to operate under the ECS name. Sattazahn told BizNewsPA that the deal will create new growth opportunities for ECS’ nine employees and could also pave the way for new lines of business such as plumbing, electrical, and solar.
“We look forward to working with Andy Sattazahn and his tremendous team in building on the strong foundation ECS Comfort has established over the past 35 years and delivering innovative, unparalleled comfort solutions to our growing customer base across the Central Pennsylvania region,” said Rabbino in the release.
Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
