Annville is preparing for some Easter fun with the Bunny Hop Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23, from noon to 2 p.m., at Quittie Creek Nature Park, 536 Bachman Road. There is a rain date scheduled for Saturday, March 30.

The free event will place families on the hunt for treats, with some eggs filled with candy donated by organizations like Cura Bella Childcare, and several dozen holding prize tags.

Those who find the tagged eggs will be able to bring them to the Celebrate! Annville table at the Swingholm Pedestrian Bridge, where they can be exchanged for stuffed toys donated by Annville American Legion Post 559.

Families should register at the Celebrate! Annville table when they arrive and bring with them a bag or basket to collect the eggs.

Between hunting for treats and meeting the Easter Bunny, families can also purchase 50/50 and basket raffle tickets.

Proceeds from the sales will be used by Celebrate! Annville, a Friends of Old Annville committee dedicated to raising the sense of community within the township, to purchase holiday decorations for Main Street and to support future events like these.
