The Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for its Emerging Leaders Awards, a new class of awards that will recognize young professionals making leadership contributions in the Lebanon Valley.
Nominees must be aged 21 to 40, work in the Lebanon Valley, and lead exceptionally well in at least one of the following areas: “professional growth, mentoring others, non-profit leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, and positive influence.” Membership with the Chamber is not a requirement.
All nominations must be completed by an employer or volunteer coordinator (defined by the Chamber “where the nominee is a volunteer for an organization who is the nominator”) by 4 p.m. on Friday, March 22.
The form can be sent to the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce mailing address: 989 Quentin Road, Suite 1, Lebanon, or emailed to the organization.
The applications are confidential and will only be reviewed by the selection committee, which will review all applications and select the recipients of the awards.
The awards will be presented to the Emerging Leaders as well as Rising Leaders from the area’s high schools and colleges at an Emerging Leaders Awards luncheon on Thursday, April 11, at the Barn & Barrel at Mount Hope Estate and Winery. Click here to learn more about the event and register.
