Identity theft – Around 5:38 p.m. March 1, police responded to the 800 block of Pine Grove Road for a report of identity theft. Police determined that someone attempted to file a false unemployment claim in the name of a 50-year-old Fredericksburg woman.
Drug possession – Between 10 and 10:30 a.m. Feb. 29, a 13-year-old male Grantville student in Northern Lebanon School District was found in possession of a THC vape pen.
City of Lebanon
Arrest warrant – On Feb. 29, police issued an arrest warrant against Santos Rodriguez-Cruz, 30, with the original charge being failure to register with PSP.
Arrest warrant – On Feb. 29, police issued an arrest warrant against Georgine Selby, 39, with the original charge being possession of drug paraphernalia.
Arrest warrant – On Feb. 29, police issued an arrest warrant against Xavier Frigerio, 18, with the original charge being possession of controlled substance.
Arrest warrant – On March 4, police issued an arrest warrant against Luis Sanchez, 31, with the original charge being simple assault.
Arrest warrant – On March 7, police issued an arrest warrant against Shantelle Burkett, 36, with the original charge being failure to register (sex offender).
Arrest warrant – On March 7, police issued an arrest warrant against Tanaia Hood, 24, with the original charge being forgery.
Arrest warrant – On March 7, police issued an arrest warrant against Dawn Duckett, 60, with the original charge being retail theft.
Arrest warrant – On March 7, police issued an arrest warrant against Reymar Galarza, 38, with the original charge being failure to register (sex offender).
Spring is approaching, and street sweeping enforcement is too – Street sweeping enforcement will resume the week of March 18. Please obey posted “No Parking” signs for the weekly sweeper run. Lebanon city police thank everyone for their cooperation as they work hard to keep the streets clean.
Injured eagle – On March 8, police responded to Coleman Memorial Park for an injured animal. When police arrived on the scene, they discovered the animal to be a bald eagle and, with the assistance of the Pennsylvania State Game Commission, city police secured the raptor and will transport it to an eagle rescue for treatment and recovery.
North Cornwall Township
DUI, driving while suspended – At 2:25 p.m. Dec. 29, police charged Juan Navedo, 47, of Lebanon, with DUI and driving while suspended. The incident occurred on Walnut Street.
Retail theft – At 2:49 p.m. Jan. 19, police charged Dustin Wright, 45, of Ambridge, with alleged retail theft after an incident at Sheetz.
DUI, drug possession, obedience to traffic control devices, failure to stop at stop sign – Around 1:15 a.m. Jan. 27, police charged Tyler Baish, 24, of Lebanon, with DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, obedience to traffic control devices, and failure to stop at stop sign. The incident occurred on Quentin Road.
Disorderly conduct – At 5:55 p.m. Jan. 28, police charged a 20-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man, both of Lebanon, with disorderly conduct on Quentin Road.
Drug possession – At 5:09 p.m. Jan. 28, police charged a 70-year-old Camden, New Jersey, man with possession of drug paraphernalia. This incident occurred on Church Street.
DUI crash, careless driving, accident involving damage to unattended vehicle or property – At 8:38 a.m. Feb. 1, police responded to Oak Street for a report of a single-vehicle crash without injuries involving a struck utility pole. When police arrived, the owner of the vehicle had left the scene. Police charged Alexis Tonini, 25, of Lebanon, with DUI, careless driving, and accident involving damage to unattended vehicle or property.
DUI – Around 11:15 p.m. Feb. 6, police stopped a vehicle driven by Shynia Viera, 26, of Lebanon, on Millview Court. Police charged Viera with alleged DUI.
DUI – At 6:01 p.m. Feb. 13, police charged Jason Young, 29, of Palmyra, with DUI after an incident on Center Street.
DUI, careless driving – At 6:35 p.m. Feb. 24, police charged Kevin Maxson, 51, of Lebanon, with DUI and careless driving on West Cumberland Street.
North Lebanon Township
DUI – Police charged Juan Medina-Vega, of Lebanon, with a DUI and related charges after a crash on Feb. 4 on the 2200 block of East Cumberland Street. Medina-Vega’s BAC was .140% at the time.
North Londonderry Township
Theft – At 10:15 a.m. Feb. 8, an 80-year-old Palmyra woman reported that someone cut the catalytic converter off her vehicle while it was parked in front of her home on the 800 block of South Harrison Street. The victim discovered the theft after she started her car, it made a loud noise, she took it to a garage, and a mechanic told her that the catalytic converter was cut off. The theft occurred sometime late Feb. 5 or early Feb. 6.
Vehicle accident – At 9:38 p.m. Feb. 7, a vehicle driven by a 42-year-old Palmyra man was traveling south on the 400 block of South Lingle Avenue, crossed the opposite lane, and sheared off a utility pole. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Charges are pending the results of an investigation.
Retail theft – Police charged Adalberto Dominguez, 28, of Lebanon, with retail theft after Dominguez allegedly entered the Lowe’s at 70 N. Londonderry Square at 2:50 p.m. Feb. 13., selected a mattress valued at $799, and left the store without paying for it.
Vehicle accident – Police charged a 24-year-old Lebanon man with driving vehicle at safe speed, driving on roadways laned for traffic, and expired inspection after a crash at 2:40 p.m. Feb. 29. The man was traveling south at a high rate of speed on Campbelltown Road, approaching its intersection with Cottonwood Court, and was unable to stop for traffic that was stopped in the lane. His’ vehicle struck a vehicle driven by a 49-year-old Palmyra woman on Campbelltown Road, then continued onto Cottonwood Court and struck a vehicle driven by a 36-year-old Palmyra woman. Both vehicles were towed by Zimmey’s Automotive. Life Lion EMS and the Palmyra Fire Department assisted on the scene.
Access device fraud, theft by deception, criminal conspiracy – On Aug. 1, Lowe’s in Palmyra reported that between June and July 2023, three males created fraudulent online orders using Lowe’s customer account numbers. The items varied from kitchen appliances to high-end slate oak flooring, totaling $5,578.08. The suspects are Diony De Los Santos, 23, Angel Rodriguez, 20, and Yofreinx Carrion-Taveraz, 23. Police charged them with access device fraud without authorization and criminal conspiracy, theft by deception with false impression, and criminal conspiracy.
Vehicle accident – Police charged a 37-year-old Palmyra man with following too closely after his vehicle rear-ended a vehicle driven by a 55-year-old Lebanon man at 11:24 a.m. Feb. 3. Both vehicles were traveling north on South Forge Road. The Lebanon man’s vehicle was stopped in traffic, waiting to turn onto Park Drive from South Forge Road, when the impact occurred. No injuries were reported. Palmyra Fire Department and Fire Police assisted on the scene.
Vehicle accident – At 5:06 a.m. Feb. 2, police responded to the 300 block of Gravel Hill Road for a single-vehicle crash involving a struck deer. A vehicle driven by a 31-year-old Palmyra man was traveling north on Gravel Hill Road when a deer ran out into the road in front of him. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Palmyra Borough
Disorderly conduct – At 5:03 p.m. Feb 22, police responded to the 300 block of East Broad Street for a man yelling and causing a disturbance on the road. Police identified the suspect as a 31-year-old man and charged him with summary disorderly conduct.
DUI – At 12:11 a.m. Dec. 25, police pulled over a vehicle on the 00 block of North Duke Street for multiple traffic violations. Police determined that the driver, Aaron Heiner, 27, was under the influence of alcohol and arrested him for DUI. Heiner’s BAC was .194% at the time of the stop. On Feb. 23, police charged Heiner with misdemeanor DUI-highest rate of alcohol, misdemeanor DUI-incapable of safe driving, and three summary traffic violations.
DUI – At 1:17 a.m. Dec. 30, police pulled over a vehicle on the 300 block of South Railroad Street for operating without headlights. Police determined that the driver, Franciso Mojica-De La Cruz, 21, was under the influence of a controlled substance and placed him under arrest for DUI. Lab results later confirmed the presence of a controlled substance in his system. On Feb. 20, police charged Mojica-De La Cruz with two counts of misdemeanor DUI-drug and summary general lighting requirements.
Bench warrant – Around 1:15 p.m. Feb. 22, police were on the 500 block of East Spruce Street when they came into contact with Jessica Lambert, 37, who has a bench warrant out of the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office for a parole violation, with the original charge being disorderly conduct. Police took Lambert into custody and transported her to LCCB.
Bench warrant – Around 9:20 p.m. Feb. 15, police were on the 100 block of East Broad Street when they came into contact with Katlyn Dippner, 30, who has a bench warrant out of the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office for a parole violation, with the original charge being possession of drug paraphernalia. Police took Dippner into custody and transported her to LCCB.
Resisting arrest, drug possession – At 12:04 a.m. Feb. 12, police pulled over a vehicle on the 00 block of North Railroad Street. The vehicle was displaying a registration plate that did not belong on it and expired in 2019. The driver, Dimico Davenport, 51, was uncooperative with police throughout the entire interaction. Police found him in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and with multiple open alcohol containers in his car. On Feb. 13, police charged Davenport with misdemeanor resisting arrest, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor disorderly conduct, summary restrictions on alcoholic beverages, summary fraudulent use of registration plate, summary unauthorized use of registration, summary driving unregistered vehicle, and summary required financial responsibility. Charges were filed through MDJ Warner’s office.
Altered, forged, or counterfeit documents and plates – At 6:53 p.m. Jan. 28, police pulled over a vehicle on the 600 block of West Main Street for traffic violations. Police determined that the, Kahlil Scott-Patterson, 28, was operating with a counterfeit Delaware registration plate on his vehicle to hide that the vehicle had an expired and suspended Pennsylvania registration plate. The vehicle also had no inspection or insurance. Police charged Scott-Patterson with misdemeanor altered, forged, or counterfeit documents and plates and seven summary traffic violations.
Simple assault, harassment – Around 1:20 a.m. Jan. 28, police responded to the 900 block of East Maple Street for a domestic dispute. Police determined that Bryan Lambert, 46, punched the victim in the face twice, which caused the area around the victim’s jaw to swell. On Jan. 30, police charged Lambert with misdemeanor simple assault-domestic violence and summary harassment. Charges were filed through MDJ Warner’s office.
Disorderly conduct – At 10:59 a.m. Jan. 27, police responded to the 500 block of East Main Street for a disturbance. Police located a 30-year-old man who was yelling obscenities and causing a scene. Police charged him with summary disorderly conduct.
Bench warrant, driving without insurance – Around 2:20 p.m. Jan. 18, police pulled over a blue Volkswagen Jetta on the 100 block of West Main Street. Police identified the driver of the vehicle as Kasey Brower, 35, who had a bench warrant out of the Lebanon County Sheriff’s Office for domestic relations. Police took Brower into custody and turned him over to the Lebanon County Sheriff’s Office. Police also charged Brower with summary driving without insurance and summary inspection violation.
Arrest – Police arrested Patrick Daly, 43, on March 4 when he turned himself in to Palmyra Borough police. Daly had an active arrest warrant, issued on March 1, with the original charges being misdemeanor fleeing or attempting to elude police officer and two traffic violations. Charges stem from a traffic stop around 8:25 a.m. Feb. 26 involving a black Chevrolet Cruze on the 400 block of South Forge Road. Before the officer was able to issue a citation, Daly fled the scene of the traffic stop.
Arrest – Around 8:32 a.m. March 5, police pulled over a black Chevrolet Suburban on the 400 block of South Forge Road. Police identified the passenger as Brittany Howarth, 33, who had an active bench warrant out of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, with the original charge being DUI. Police took Howarth into custody and handed her over to the sheriff’s office. Police charged the driver with summary driving while suspended.
Palmyra Police thank James Biever Police – Palmyra Borough police would like to thank the James Biever Police โ Community Alliance for the supply of Linus Blankets they received on Feb. 17. The handmade blankets will be stored in patrol vehicles and used to provide warmth and comfort to those in need, especially children.
Palmyra police welcome Cub Scouts – On Feb. 22, Palmyra Borough police welcomed Cub Scout Pack #456. The visiting scouts met with officers, were given a tour of the department, and had an opportunity to ask questions. The scouts and the officers enjoyed this time immensely, according to a release from the department.
South Annville Township
Vehicle accident – Around 3:08 p.m. March 3, a 2023 Ford Escape was traveling east on SR 322 behind a 2022 Subaru Ascent. The driver of the Ford did not see the Subaru’s turn signal and attempted to turn onto Valley Lane. The vehicles collided when the Subaru turned onto Valley Lane. Both vehicles sustained minimal damage. No airbags were deployed. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. Both vehicles were driven from the scene. Charges of driving on roadways laned for traffic against the Ford driver are pending investigation.
South Lebanon Township
DUI, disorderly conduct – On Feb. 4, police pulled over a vehicle on Cobblestone Lane. During the investigation, the driver of the vehicle, Kevin Snow, 37, became unruly and belligerent toward the officer. Additional officers arrived and determined that Snow was under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances. Police received Snow’s BAC results and charged him with misdemeanor DUI-alcohol, misdemeanor DUI-controlled substances, misdemeanor disorderly conduct, and summary driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked (DUI-related).
DUI, drug possession – On Feb. 5, police pulled over a vehicle on the 700 block of East Walnut Street. Police determined that the driver, Christian Cruz, 46, was under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances. Police received Cruz’s BAC results and charged him with two counts of misdemeanor DUI-controlled substance, misdemeanor Schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, summary operating a vehicle without valid inspection, and summary driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked.
