The United Way of Lebanon County is preparing for its annual Day of Caring event, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 20.

The event aims to make a lasting positive impact on the community through a day’s worth of volunteerism.

The Day of Caring 2024 will consist of more than 40 projects, such as cleaning up parks and waterways and other beautification initiatives throughout the county.

“This is an opportunity to unite as volunteers and work together to create a cleaner, greener, and more vibrant Lebanon County,” said United Way event coordinator Sam Light in a press release.

The event is open to individuals, families, and organizations and has welcomed more than 500 volunteers in years past. Those interested in volunteering for this event can learn more by visiting United Way’s website and can sign up for projects through its volunteer portal.
