Viking Foundation shares dates for 25th annual golf tournament, Vikes & Vets 5K

This year, the foundation awarded scholarships to 15 seniors, with plans to expand

In support of the Northern Lebanon School District, the Viking Foundation is an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the education, values and cultural experience of the students and Northern Lebanon through scholarships and support of innovative programs.

The Foundation raises money through donations and events to provide scholarships to deserving students who have shown a desire to give back to the Northern Lebanon community through volunteerism.

This year the Foundation is proud to award 15 deserving seniors monetary scholarships and hopes to not only continue this tradition but expand in the years to come.

Historically, the Viking Foundation’s biggest event of the year has been the annual golf tournament. This year, the Jim Northridge Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Friday, June 14, at the Pine Meadows Golf Complex and there is still time to register! Foundation members are thankful for the event sponsor, Fidevia construction management & consulting and our platinum sponsor, Dieffenbach’s.

In addition to the annual golf tournament fundraiser, the Viking Foundation is pleased to announce that the 2^nd annual Vikes & Vets 5K event will be held on school grounds, Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024. All monies raised will help the Foundation continue to positively impact the lives of students and teachers while honoring active and retired military.
