If you hear rumblings from northern Lebanon County over the this month, worry not – it’s probably just the Gap.
Here’s the training schedule at Fort Indiantown Gap for the rest of June 2024.
Demolition training will be held June 6 to June 9 between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Hand grenade training will be held June 13 to June 14 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Helicopter door gunnery training will be held June 20 to June 24 between 2 p.m. and 2 a.m.
Artillery live-fire training will be held June 24 to June 27 between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Fort Indiantown Gap is the only live-fire and maneuver military base in Pennsylvania. It is considered the nation’s largest National Guard training facility by number of mandays trained – close to one million annually.
