Outside any delays, the Chick-fil-A under construction at the Lebanon Plaza on Route 72/Quentin Road remains on track to open this fall.

The College Park, Georgia-based fast food chicken behemoth shared the news with LebTown earlier this month.

“It’s our pleasure to confirm that construction for Chick-fil-A Lebanon Plaza is underway,” said the company in a statement.

Located at 1147 Quentin Road, the restaurant will feature a playground, an outdoor seating area, and a dual-lane drive-thru, which the company said is designed to expedite and elevate the guest experience.

“We look forward to joining the community soon, and to serving all of our guests delicious food in an environment of genuine hospitality,” said Chick-fil-A.

Jobs are yet to be posted for the Lebanon location on Chick-fil-A’s website but as previously reported by LebTown, the restaurant, like other locally owned and operated Chick-fil-A franchises, is expected to create 80 to 120 jobs in the area.

The land development plan shows a 5,905-square-foot new restaurant building on the site with 70 seats and 55 parking spots.

According to development plans, the restaurant will have three drive-thru order lanes that will merge into two lanes for order pick-up, with space for about 53 vehicles according to a calculation of 1,173 feet total and about 23 feet per vehicle.
