The North Lebanon Township Police Department is investigating the circumstances behind a young male who was found dead at Stoever’s Dam Park this week.
Police said that around 9 a.m. Wednesday, they were called to Stoever’s Dam Park for a report of an unresponsive person face down in the water. Police said they discovered the deceased young male in the water upon arrival.
An autopsy is scheduled today at Lehigh County Medical Center, police said, noting that the death is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
North Lebanon Township police said more information will be shared as the investigation continues.
The department has been assisted in the investigation by North Cornwall Township Police Department, the Lebanon County Detectives Bureau, the Lebanon County Coroner’s office, and the Lebanon County Department of Emergency Services.
