The South Londonderry Township Police Department announced in a release Thursday that a 23-year-old Middletown man was charged in connection with a theft earlier this year.

Ivan Rodgers was charged with theft by unlawful taking.

Tetra Tech, a consulting and engineering firm, reported on Tuesday, Jan. 2, that someone had stolen more than $140,000 worth of equipment from a temporary trailer parked in the designated parking area for State Game Lands 145 near Mount Gretna.

Following the report, South Londonderry Township police conducted an investigation and identified Rodgers as a participant in the theft.

According to court records, Rodgers has a preliminary hearing scheduled for July 18 in front of Magisterial District Judge David Warner.
