We are just days away from the official kick off of the 68th Annual Lebanon Area Fair and we have gathered up our top 10 reasons that you do not want to miss the first day on Saturday, July 20!

The animal barns are an absolute flurry of activity! The pigs, cows, rabbits, goats and sheep moved in to the Fairgrounds either Friday night or Saturday morning and our hard-working exhibitors are busy washing, clipping, and decorating their pens. If you want to see a lot of animal action, be sure to walk through on barns on Opening Day.

⑨Be first to see the winners! The exhibit hall opens at 4 p.m. after seven hours of judging all the competitive indoor exhibits. The flower, vegetable, and baked goods are fresh for admiring on the first day, having been picked, arranged, or prepared in the hours just before entries were due for drop off. Viewing the winners on Day One gives you the best look at what makes a Best in Show exhibit!
