Several roads in South Lebanon Township will be restricted or closed in the coming days for paving projects.
The bridge at Birch and Short roads will be paved on Friday, July 19, closing the roads from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
From Monday, July 22, to Tuesday, July 23, East High, Herr Street, and Cloister streets and South 7th Avenue will be paved. Parking will be prohibited on these streets because of the size of the streets.
Walnut Street from South 5th Avenue to Cumberland Street will be milled from Wednesday, July 24, to Thursday, July 25, and traffic will be reduced to one lane.
The following day, Friday, July 26, a scratch coat will be applied to Walnut Street from South 5th Avenue to Cumberland Street. Again, traffic will be reduced to one lane.
The series of projects will end on Monday, July 29, with the paving of Walnut Street from South 5th Avenue to Cumberland Street. Once again, traffic will be reduced to one lane.
The South Lebanon Township Police Department warns motorists that traffic delays may occur as a result of these projects and asks them to plan accordingly.
