14-year-old Addi Grace, who was first introduced to the Lebanon Area Fair during the talent show in 2021, moved to the main stage Wednesday.
Guitar in hand, she played a mix of Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, and The Cranberries to the crowd.
LebTown profiled the rising star back in 2022, and more recently covered her streaming platform debut.
Grace said performing is her “favorite thing.”
“All the adrenaline and the emotion — it’s just my favorite thing of all time,” she said. “Seeing smiles on people’s faces and people dancing around and singing along, it’s just so cool and I love it so much.”
Over the past few years, Grace has stacked up recognition in the area. She earned the Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame Youth Artist of the Year award in 2021, was nominated again in 2022, and won the award for her second time in 2023.
She said the public support — especially from other young musicians in the region — has helped her branch out and perform in new venues.
“Everybody is so supportive, especially young musicians, which I really appreciate because there are so many talented young musicians,” Grace said. “They’re very very supportive, and they help us get out to other places.”
Some recent gigs have included Snitz Creek in Annville, the Proudly PA festival, and Cassel Vineyards of Hershey.
Grace said she has plans for an album and more original songs in the future, and she’s hoping to keep playing bigger and bigger venues.
Her original “Not Gonna Make It” was her first song uploaded to music streaming platforms earlier in 2024.
