From auctions and athletic runs to thrilling truck pulls and a captivating gem show, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Whether you’re a local resident or a visitor, the Expo Center is the place to be this August.

Public Auction (August 3)

Join us at 9 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, for a thrilling public auction featuring a wide array of collectibles and personal property. This auction, conducted by Harry H. Bachman Auctioneer for James Shissler, includes ERTL collectibles, toys, precision hunting items, Tonka toys, and more. Preview begins at 7:00 a.m. on the morning of the auction. Items up for bid include ERTL and Winross trucks, a Tonka fire truck, dozer, crane, dump truck, vintage photos, children’s toys and books, farm toys, and a Precision Classic Farmall. Also featured are hunting knives, fishing gear, metal garden items, a variety of train supplies, and much more. Don’t miss the chance to find unique items and great deals.

Biever Family Police Scholarship Fund – Run (August 10)

On August 10, bring your family, friends, lawn chairs, and friendly pups to the fourth annual 5K! Not a runner? No problem! Join the 1-mile fun run/walk, where kids under 10 walk for free.

Relax and enjoy the outdoors while cheering on racers, enjoying food, and buying raffle tickets for exciting baskets. All proceeds benefit the James Biever Police-Community Alliance, which provides scholarships to high school students, educational opportunities for local law enforcement, and community outreach. Beast of the East (August 10)

Join us for the Beast of the East Pulls on August 10th, when East Coast Pullers and Appalachian Outlaws will team up for dual track action. Pit gates open at 2 p.m., spectator gates at 5 p.m., and the show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for ages 10 and up, $5 for ages 5-9, and free for under 5. Gem Miners Jubilee (August 16-18)

Celebrate the 26th year of the Gem Miner’s Jubilee Gem, Bead, and Jewelry Show at the Lebanon Valley Expo and Fairgrounds from August 16 to August 18. This event, hosted by the Mid-Atlantic Gem and Mineral Association (MAGMA), features over 100 vendors from around the world and expects more than 4,000 visitors. Explore a vast selection of rough rock, fine jewelry, fossils, minerals, beads, loose gemstones, carvings, crystals, findings, tools, and more. The show includes two wholesale trade rooms, three indoor retail rooms, and an enlarged outdoor area. Artisans will be available for wire wrapping, stone setting, and jewelry repair. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $6, free for children under 12, and discounted pre-purchase tickets are available on the website. Handicapped accessible with free parking.
