LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.

The Pet of the Week sometimes features a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the column spotlights an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.

This week, meet adoptable Chopstick!

“Hi, I’m Chopstick.”

“In a world full of forks, be a Chopstick!” says Pitties.Love.Peace rep Mika Stiefel.

Chopstick is a 3-year-old male French bulldog. He is “happy and social,” Mika adds, and he’s looking for a special family to help him live his best life.

He has a paralyzed hind end with no control over his bowels and bladder, she explains, although he “wears diapers proudly.”

“He’s content to lay around in his dog bed all day with his favorite bones,” Mika says. “Food is his love language.”

He’s great riding in the car or his stroller, she says, and he comes with his own set of custom wheels from Eddie’s Wheels.

“He has the most endearing cry to let you know when he needs help or wants something,” Mika says. “He loves people of all sizes, however he would prefer a family with no kids under 8 due to his injury.”

Chopstick is dog friendly, but would have to be tested for an applicant with cats.

“He’s looking for a loving family that will commit to his needs and include him in all of life’s adventures,” Mika says. If you think Chopstick could be a fit for your household, please click over to pittieslovepeace.com to submit your online application.
