MVP News: August 2024

A favorite MVP local community event is the Myerstown Block Party, which returns on Saturday, September 28.

Suppose you enjoy being well-fed, entertained, with fun children’s activities, and getting together with friends and neighbors. In that case, you must put Saturday, September 28th, on your social calendar to attend the MVP Myerstown Block Party.

The fun begins at 10 A.M. and goes non-stop until 7 P.M. And yes, it includes the annual Car Cruise, which runs from 12 noon until 5 P.M.

Let’s get specific.

Are your culinary skills worthy of recognition? Enter either the Annual Chili Cookoff or the Apple Pie Baking contest. Contact by emailing layservictoria@gmail.com or calling 717-926-0396 for information.
Get a group together and enjoy the camaraderie of the Annual Beer Garden.

Two bands will be on the outdoor stage providing live music – Blessing and Fowler – from 12-3 pm. And Ben Ginder Group from 4-7 pm.

Children can enjoy a variety of activities, including the return of the Edward Jones Myerstown-themed painting activity, supervised by local professional artist Katie Trainer.

Inflatables are for the kids too!
There will be a variety of food trucks, to satisfy any taste.

Many vendors will help you get an early start on 2024 holiday shopping!

Stop what you are doing and put September 28th on your calendar now.
