Peace Love and Poms Rescue Annual Showcase Event at Annville Cleona Veterinary Associates

Free Day Full of Fun with dogs, cats, local vendors, and food/beverage trucks on August 31st from 11am until 4pm!
Join Peace Love and Poms Rescue for our 1st annual showcase event hosted at Annville Cleona Vet Associates to meet rescue dogs and cats, as well as get tours of the vet practice to see behind the scenes. We will have visits from local police dogs and tactical trained Malinos to show their skills off. Live music, food trucks, beverage trucks, local vendors showcasing their work, and lots of surprises in store! There will be a race of the vet staff in some seriously silly costumes, balloon animals, face painting, and so much more! Bring the whole family and meet some of your local rescues and their animals needing homes!

The Mt. Gretna Summer Concert Series
Located under the trees of beautiful Mt. Gretna, PA, the Tabernacle is located at 3rd Street & Glossbrenner Avenue, Mt. Gretna, PA. 17064. The venue seats 700 under the roof but you can bring a lawn chair and sit outside along the perimeter. Rain or shine.
No Tickets or Reservations needed.
These shows are PAY WHAT YOU WANT with a free-will collection taken at intermission. Seating is on a first-come-first-serve basis. All shows start at 7:30 p.m. You will want to arrive by 7:10 p.m. to get a good seat.

Lisa Kilgore from Children’s Evangelical Fellowship will be leading the “Bible School” featuring interactive Bible-based activities. All ages are encouraged to participate!
This is a fantastic opportunity for people of all ages to come together and share in a meaningful intergenerational experience. Children will enjoy the unique chance to connect and interact with the older adults who call Juniper their home.

Suicide Prevention Bingo Fundraiser at St. Cecilia’s Parish Hall

The Lebanon County Suicide Prevention Task Force is proud to host our annual Bingo Fundraiser on Sunday, September 8th! The event will be held at St. Cecilia’s Parish Hall, located at 750 State Drive, Lebanon PA 17042. Doors open at 11 AM, and the games will begin at 1 PM.
Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door. You can purchase tickets by calling Skyler at 717-383-8456, stopping by 718 Poplar Street, Suite J between 9 AM-3 PM Monday through Friday, or by going to https://suicidepreventionbingo24.eventbrite.com.
All games will be cash prizes! There will also be a 50/50 jackpot, basket raffles, and concession stand.

Steven P. Buzgon Annual Lecture Featuring Author Rachel Beanland at Congregation Beth Israel

Congregation Beth Israel (411 South 8th Street) will host the Steven P. Buzgon Annual Lecture featuring Rachel Beanland, author of “The House Is On Fire,” on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
This event is part of the Lebanon County Library System’s Lebanon County Reads program.
The evening will begin with a donor’s reception at 7 p.m., followed by Beanland’s lecture at 8 p.m. A book sale and signing will take place after the lecture.
Tickets are available at all Lebanon County libraries or at the synagogue. Tickets for the lecture and author reception are $100. Tickets for the lecture only are $20 for adults and $10 for students.
The lecture will be followed by a Q&A, book sale, and book signing with the author.
