Unfortunately, late Thursday evening, Hurricane Helene hit the big bend of Florida as Category 4. The storm now is going to cause historical flooding to parts of the Carolinas.

While we will not be impacted directly, this weekend will be another gloomy raw damp and chilly go. Rain will develop across the region Friday afternoon and will continue into late Friday night. Temperatures will remain in the middle 60s with breezy conditions.

Saturday will remain cloudy and overcast with light rain continuing into the mid morning hours before ending. We will then be dealing with off and on misty drizzle lasting into the evening. Temperatures will remain in the 60s with breezy conditions remaining in place.

Sunday will remain mostly cloudy, and I think most locations will avoid rain, but it will certainly feel the part of fall as temperatures will again hold in the middle 60s.
