Simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime – On Sept. 25, police charged Juan Aponte-Pelaez, 33, and Jedia Garcia-Echevarria, 19, after an incident on the 300 block of North 8th Street.

Theft by unlawful taking – On Sept. 26, police charged Timothy Gundrum, 53, after an incident on the 1100 block of Maple Street.

Simple assault (domestic violence-related) – On Sept. 27, police charged Rafael Morales, 49, after an incident on the 400 block of Canal Street.

Vehicle-pedestrian accident – At 10:03 a.m. Oct. 3, police responded to 9th and Chestnut streets for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. According to a report, the pedestrian was crossing 9th Street in the crosswalk and the vehicle was making a left turn from Chestnut Street to travel north on 9th Street. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is in stable condition. No one else was injured. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact Lebanon city police through CRIMEWATCH.

DEA National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day – The Lebanon City Police Department will provide the public with the opportunity to surrender expired, unused, or unwanted prescription drugs and other medications. Officers will be at the front entrance of Lebanon City Hall, 735 Cumberland St., on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Heidelberg Township

Vehicle accident – At 6:39 a.m. Sept. 26, a two-vehicle crash occurred at Stricklerstown Road and Heidelberg Avenue. A 2009 Jeep Wrangler driven by a 63-year-old Newmanstown woman was stopped at a stop sign, facing west, and attempted to turn left and continue south on Heidelberg Avenue. The Jeep entered the intersection and was struck by a northbound 2013 Ford Focus driven by a 30-year-old Ephrata resident. The Jeep sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene. The Ford sustained disabling damage and was towed. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and sustained no injuries.

Jackson Township

Vehicle accident – At 3:30 p.m. Sept. 26, a 2003 Toyota Corolla driven by a 76-year-old Newmanstown woman was traveling behind a northbound 2018 Chevrolet van driven by a 30-year-old Richland woman. The van was rear-ended by the Toyota when it slowed to make a left turn into the driveway of a home on the 200 block of Millardsville Road. The Toyota continued north, crashing into a drainage ditch. The Newmanstown woman was wearing a seatbelt, sustained a suspected minor injury, and was transported via Myerstown First Aid Unit to Good Samaritan Hospital. The Richland woman was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries. Police charged the Newmanstown woman with following too closely.

North Lebanon Township

Retail theft – Police charged Kelly Johnson, 35, of Lebanon, after she failed to pay for merchandise worth $125.97 from Walmart on June 7.

Burglary – Police charged Jeffrey Stump, 37, after an incident at Wendy’s, 1490 E. Lehman St., on June 12.

Terroristic threats, simple assault – Police charged Adam Migatulski, 36, after an incident at Stoevers Dam Park at 6:44 p.m. July 11.

Indecent exposure, criminal mischief, public drunkenness, criminal trespass – Police charged Michael Binner, 39, of Lebanon, after an incident on the 1600 block of Grace Avenue on July 21.

Burglary, criminal trespass, simple assault – Police charged Zuleyka Caceres-Candelari, 37, of Lebanon, after an incident on the 600 block of North 8th Avenue on Aug. 24.

Criminal mischief, harassment – Police charged Raquel Ramono, 19, of Lebanon, after he damaged a vehicle during an altercation in the Walmart parking lot at 8:15 p.m. Aug. 8.

Simple assault, possession of drug paraphernalia – Police charged Angel Cruz-Rigual, 31, after a domestic on the 1500 block of Colonial Circle at 7:08 a.m. Sept. 19.

Illegally operating a vehicle without ignition interlock, restrictions on alcoholic beverages – Police charged Anthony Maldonado-Colon, 36, of Lebanon, after a traffic stop at 8:43 p.m. June 28, on Route 422.

Retail theft, possession of drug paraphernalia – Police charged Tess Loy, 48, of Lebanon, after he failed to pay for merchandise worth $69.03 at Walmart on Sept. 5.

Retail theft – Police charged Alberto Ramos-Vega, 53, after he failed to pay for $100 worth of merchandise at Price Rite on Aug. 1.

Retail theft – Police charged Kelly Kobal, 45, of Myerstown, after failing to pay for $154.56 worth of merchandise at Walmart on Aug. 30.

Theft from a motor vehicle, loitering and prowling at nighttime – Police charged Donavin Frescatore, 22, of Lebanon, after he entered vehicles on the 100 block of Robert’s Circle on Sept. 2.

North Londonderry Township

Drug possession – At 1:36 a.m. May 12, police pulled over a vehicle driven by Brandon Jordan, 27, of Harrisburg, for a registration light not working properly while it was dark outside. Police observed marijuana in plain view in the vehicle. The marijuana was not in an approved medical container. Jordan then consented to a search of his vehicle. The powder form of cocaine and drug paraphernalia were also found during the search. Following lab testing, charges of misdemeanor possession of cocaine, misdemeanor possession of a small amount of marijuana, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia were filed against Jordan.

DUI, following too closely – Police charged Yaritza Rodriguez, 46, of Palmyra, after a traffic stop at 8:56 p.m. Aug. 14 on the 1300 block of East Main Street. Rodriguez’s BAC was 0.16% at the time of the traffic stop.

Vehicle accident – At 8:53 a.m. Oct. 2, after stopping at a posted stop sign near South Railroad Street and East Elm Street, a vehicle driven by an 83-year-old Palmyra woman failed to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic and was struck by a southbound vehicle driven by a 44-year-old Palmyra resident with the right of way on South Railroad Street. No injuries were reported. The struck vehicle was towed from the scene by Zimmey’s Automotive. Police cited the 83-year-old woman with a stop sign violation.

Swatara Township

Identity theft – At 12:35 p.m. Sept. 19, a 59-year-old Lebanon woman came into PSP Jonestown to report that her social security number was leaked on the internet. The woman reported that she needed a report number to dispute the claims to Experian on her credit report. At this time, the woman is not out of any money and she has been in contact with the Social Security office regarding the incident. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Jonestown.

Found property – At 10 a.m. Sept. 30, someone brought a blue Motorola smartphone with a purple case into PSP Jonestown. The phone was found near the intersection of Lancaster Street and Lickdale Road.

Vehicle accident – At 6:15 a.m. Sept. 30, a 2006 Kawasaki driven by a 41-year-old Lebanon man was traveling east on Lickdale Road when it struck a deer in the roadway. The man was propelled off the motorcycle. The man was wearing a motorcycle helmet, sustained a suspected minor injury, and was transported via Life Lion EMS to Hershey Medical Center.

West Lebanon Township

Drug possession – Police charged Zebadiah Kramer, 23, of Fredericksburg, and Courtney Lutz, 20, of Fredericksburg, both with possession of a controlled substance not by registered persons and possession of marijuana. Charges stem from an altercation in the Rutter’s parking lot on Feb. 15.

Western Lebanon County Regional Police

Warrant served – At 11 p.m. Sept. 24, police pulled over a vehicle driven by Jonathan Rutter, 31, who had an active warrant out of the Lebanon County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear. Police took Rutter into custody without issue and transported him to LCCB.

Arrest prior to requisition, driving a commercial vehicle while suspended in another state – At 11:28 p.m. Sept. 14, police pulled over a vehicle driven by Nathan Cooley, 45, on the 300 block of East Main Street and learned that Cooley had a suspended driver’s license and an active warrant out of Maryland. Police took Cooley into custody per the request of the Maryland State Police and transported him to LCCB without issue.

Warrants served – On Oct. 1, police pulled over a vehicle on the 900 block of East Main Street for traffic violations. Police identified an occupant of the vehicle as Amanda Pruitt, 42, who had two bench warrants out of the Lebanon County Sheriff’s Office for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and domestic relations. Police arrested Pruitt without incident and transported her to LCCB.

Harassment – Around 3:40 p.m. Sept. 20, police responded to Good Guy Vapes, 25 E. Main St., Palmyra, and determined that a 14-year-old boy punched an employee twice. On Sept. 25, a non-traffic citation was filed with MDJ Warner’s office, charging the boy with summary harassment.

Found dog – On Oct. 4, a female Yorkshire terrier was found by the Western Lebanon County Regional Police Department on the 1400 block of East Main Street and was taken to the Lebanon County Humane Society. Anyone with information regarding the dog is asked to contact police at 717-838-8189 or submit a tip through CRIMEWATCH.
