Annville Free Library will host a special interactive screening of the 1991 “Addams Family” film on Sunday, Oct. 27, at 12:30 p.m.

The event, presented in partnership with Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., will take place at the Allen Theatre, 36 E. Main St., Annville.

The ticket price includes a fully immersive experience with interactive props, a small popcorn and drink, trivia opportunities, up-close magic, and photo sessions with Addams Family characters portrayed by members of Lebanon Valley College’s Wig and Buckle drama club. The screening will feature prompts for audience participation, such as snapping fingers along to the Addams Family theme song or playing kazoos during the Christmas carol scene.

“We’re excited to provide this event for families and invite everyone in the community join us for lots of Halloween fun,” said library director Dylan Fye. Costumes are encouraged but not mandatory.

Proceeds from the event will support the Annville Free Library’s operating expenses, including salaries, utilities, maintenance, and educational programs. Marty Brandt, president of the library board of directors, said the library relies on fundraising events like this to meet operating expenses. “We hope that people choose to get kooky and spooky with us on October 27,” Brandt added.

Tickets are available for $20 at the Annville Free Library, at 216 E. Main St., or online. For more information about the event or the library, visit the library’s website.
