City of Lebanon

Vehicle accident – At 9:22 a.m. Oct. 9, a 2009 Chevrolet Equinox and a 2022 Ford Escape were legally parked on Spring Street, east of Liberty Street. As the Chevrolet left a parking stall, it backed into the front end of the unoccupied Ford. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were able to leave the scene under their own power. The driver of the Chevrolet, a 29-year-old Lebanon woman, was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries.

Recklessly endangering another person, DUI – On Oct. 10, police charged Oscar Tamayo-Barbosa, 31, with recklessly endangering another person and DUI-alcohol after a traffic stop on the 800 block of Cornwall Road.

Drug possession – On Oct. 8, police charged Thomas Schauer, 61, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident in the area of 3rd Avenue and East Cumberland Street.

DUI, drug possession – On Oct. 12, police charged Gary Schaeffer, 67, with DUI-alcohol, DUI-controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and careless driving after a crash in the area of Lehman and New streets.

Drug possession – On Oct. 11, police charged Donavin Frescatore, 22, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident in the area of Beech and Harrison streets.

Drug possession – On Oct. 10, police charged Chris Emmanuelli, 24, with possession of a controlled substance after an incident in the area of 6th and Lehman streets.

Drug possession – On Oct. 10, police charged Orlando Rodriguez-Velez, 23, with possession of a controlled substance after an incident in the area of 8th and Lehman streets.

Drug possession – On Oct. 8, police charged Joeis Jackson, 30, with possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident on the 400 block of North 5th Street.

Fleeing or attempting to elude officer, drug possession – On Oct. 13, police charged Eddiean Naphtali, 18, with fleeing or attempting to elude officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless driving, and driver’s required to be licensed after an incident in the area of Chestnut and South 9th streets.

Drug possession – On Oct. 13, police charged Daisy Muniz, 50, with possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident on the 900 block of Lehman Street.

Firearm violations – On Oct. 15, police charged Wilfredo Maldonado-Agrinzoni, 38, with firearms not to be carried without a license, persons not to possess or use firearms, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and DUI-alcohol after a traffic stop in the area of 13th and Mifflin streets.

Drug possession – On Oct. 17, police charged Aundria Scott, 52, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident on the 700 block of Lehman Street.

Drug possession – On Oct. 16, police charged Frank Dian, 49, with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident on the 1200 block of Cumberland Street.

PFA violation – On Oct. 17, police responded to the 00 block of North College Street and charged Jason Johnson, 43, with a misdemeanor PFA violation and transported him to LCCB without issue.

Cleona Borough

DUI – At 2:55 a.m. Oct. 13, police pulled over a 2011 Hyundai on the 00 block of West Penn Avenue for a vehicle code violation. Police smelled burnt marijuana emitting from the interior of the vehicle. The driver, Jerahmeel Perez Acevedo, 25, of Lebanon, submitted to SFSTs, showed signs of impairment, and was taken into custody for the suspicion of DUI-controlled substance. Charges will be filed.

East Hanover Township

Vehicle accident – At 9:46 a.m. Oct. 2, a 2003 Pontiac Sunfire driven by a 60-year-old Annville woman was crossing SR 22 from the south side of Coon Creek Road. A 2020 Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 42-year-old West Lawn woman was traveling west on SR 22, approaching Coon Creek Road. The Pontiac failed to yield the right-of-way when it crossed SR 22, and the Chevrolet was unable to slow in time and struck the Pontiac. The Pontiac sustained damage to its passenger’s side. The Chevrolet sustained damage to its front bumper and hood. The driver of the Pontiac was wearing a seatbelt, sustained a possible injury, and was transported via Life Lion EMS to Hershey Medical Center. The driver of the Chevrolet was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries. A passenger, a 60-year-old Glengary, West Virginia, woman, was wearing a seatbelt, sustained an injury of unknown severity, and was transported via Life Lion EMS to Hershey Medical Center. Police charged the driver of the Pontiac with a stop and yield sign violation.

Vehicle accident – Around 3:01 p.m. Oct. 10, a 2018 Toyota 4-Runner was traveling north on Gravel Hill Road and a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze was traveling east on Allentown Boulevard (SR 22). The Toyota entered the intersection without clearance and was struck by the Chevrolet. Both drivers were able to drive from the scene. Police charged the driver of the Toyota with a stop and yield sign violation. Bellegrove Fire Police assisted on the scene.

Jackson Township

Bad check – On Oct. 8, police responded to the 100 block of North Ramona Road for a report of a sale of a puppy and a check that did not clear in an incident involving a 36-year-old Myerstown man.

Myerstown Borough

Vehicle accident – At 4:46 p.m. Sept. 30, a 2018 Subaru Outback driven by a 60-year-old Hamburg woman was stopped in the northbound lane of South College Street at West Richland Avenue when it was rear-ended by a northbound 2008 Toyota RAV4 driven by a 38-year-old Auburn man. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and sustained no injuries. Zimmey’s Towing assisted on the scene.

North Cornwall Township

Public drunkenness – At 11:56 p.m. July 14, police responded to Cumberland Street for a suspicious person looking in the windows of a business, which was closed at the time. Police questioned a 61-year-old Lebanon man and charged him with public drunkenness.

Disorderly conduct – At 10:30 a.m. July 14, police charged two 18-year-old Lebanon women with disorderly conduct after an incident on Springwood Drive.

Theft by deception – At 2:32 p.m. Aug. 2, police charged Moses Marcano, 27, of Lititz, with theft by deception after an incident at Lowe’s.

Disorderly conduct – At 1:57 a.m. Aug. 4, police charged a 22-year-old Lebanon woman with disorderly conduct after an incident on Cumberland Street.

Retail theft – At 11:46 p.m. Aug. 6, police responded to Turkey Hill for a theft. Police arrested Jessica Abarca, 30, of Cleona, for retail theft and an active warrant out of the Lebanon County Sheriff’s Office.

Indecent exposure – At 8:20 p.m. Aug. 7, police charged Timothy Bootie, 20, of Myerstown, with indecent exposure after an incident at Tractor Supply.

Drug possession – At 2:47 p.m. Aug. 8, police charged Garrett Shanline, 35, of Lebanon, with possession of a controlled substance after an incident on Cumberland Street.

Theft by unlawful taking – At 4:41 p.m. Aug. 8, police arrested Sonia Gonzalez, 35, of Lebanon, with theft by unlawful taking and conspiracy to commit theft, and Noemi Maldonado, 50, of Lebanon, with conspiracy to commit theft, after an incident at Plaza Apartments.

DUI, drug possession – At 12:29 a.m. Aug. 23, police charged Jose Pabon Alamo, 26, of Lebanon, with DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a vehicle without financial responsibility, and no rear lights after an incident on Chestnut Street.

Harassment – At 1:52 p.m. Sept. 6, police charged a 45-year-old Lebanon resident with harassment after an incident on Quentin Road.

North Londonderry Township

Vehicle accident, careless driving – At 3:40 p.m. Oct. 14, police charged a 33-year-old Lititz man with careless driving after his vehicle exited its lane of travel and struck two parked vehicles, owned by a 76-year-old Palmyra woman and a 42-year-old Palmyra resident, on the 1100 block of Park Drive.

Drug possession – Police charged Nasaria Paulino, 21, of Lebanon, with possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while suspended after a traffic stop at 2:50 a.m. Oct. 2 on the 1100 block of West Main Street.

Richland Borough

Theft – On Oct. 8, police responded to the 200 block of East Main Street for a stolen black 2021 Bri-Mar Manufacturing trailer. This incident involved Richland Rental and a 2023 Ford F150XLT with a third door on its passenger’s side.

Swatara Township

Vehicle accident – At 5:47 p.m. Sept. 29, a 1997 Toyota CRV driven by a 57-year-old Lebanon man was traveling west on Old Jonestown Road when the man lost control of the vehicle and struck the bridge guide rail. The man was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries. The Toyota was towed from the scene. Police charged the man with driving vehicle at safe speed.

Vehicle accident – Around 2:22 p.m. Sept. 27, a crash occurred on North Lancaster Street near SR 22 involving a 2023 Toyota Tacoma driven by a 25-year-old Jonestown man accompanied by a 25-year-old Jonestown woman and a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze driven by a 21-year-old Myerstown woman. All occupants were wearing seatbelts and sustained no injuries.

Vehicle accident – At 1:07 p.m. Oct. 1, a 2022 Infiniti driven by a 64-year-old Lebanon man was traveling in the left lane of SR 22 East when it struck a 2010 Dodge Journey driven by a 40-year-old Pine Grove woman, which had proceeded into the travel lanes without clearance from a stop sign. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts, sustained suspected minor injuries, and were transported via Life Lion EMS to Hershey Medical Center. Blatt and Tillett towed both the vehicles from the scene. Police charged the woman with a stop and yield sign violation.

Vehicle accident – At 10:34 a.m. Sept. 24, a 2005 Dodge Neon driven by a 19-year-old Lebanon man was traveling north on Grace Avenue. The man was traveling too fast for roadway conditions, lost control of the vehicle and veered into a utility pole on the left side of the road. No injuries were reported. The Dodge was towed from the scene.

Western Lebanon County Regional Police

DUI, careless driving – At 7 p.m. Aug. 22, police responded to the 300 block of East Maple Street for a vehicle complaint. Police located a truck in the middle of the street with Hom Acharya, 37, in the driver’s seat. Acharya was heavily intoxicated and arrested for DUI. Acharya’s BAC was 0.3% at the time of the incident. Charges of DUI-highest rate, DUI-incapable of safe driving, and careless driving were filed through MDJ Warner’s office.

Simple assault, harassment – Around 10:25 pm. Oct. 11, police responded to the 400 block of East Main Street for a report of a physical domestic and determined that Randy Witherspoon, 33, assaulted a female, causing injury. Witherspoon fled the scene prior to police arrival but was found a short time later, taken into custody, and transported to LCCB for arraignment. Police charged him with misdemeanor simple assault (domestic violence-related) and summary harassment.

Probation violations, harassment – At 5:16 p.m. Oct. 14, police responded to the 00 block of North Railroad Street for an intoxicated man causing a disturbance. Police identified the 34-year-old man, placed him under arrest for probation violations, and took him to LCCB, where he was issued a non-traffic citation for summary harassment.

Persons not to possess firearms, receiving stolen property – On Oct. 9, police charged Jonathan Williams, 25, with three counts of felony persons not to possess firearms and two counts of felony receiving stolen property. Charges stem from an investigation into an incident reported on Sept. 22 on the 600 block of North Railroad Street and were filed through MDJ Warner’s office.

Lost dog – Around 3:15 a.m. Oct. 17, an Australian shepherd was found on the 400 block of West Main Street. The owner should call police at 717-838-8188.
