The Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the ATHENA International Award, an annual honor recognizing individuals who excel in their careers while actively supporting women in the workplace.

The deadline for nominations is Friday, Nov. 1.

The award, presented at the Chamber’s annual Membership Breakfast and Awards in December, celebrates individuals who demonstrate excellence, creativity, and initiative in their business or profession. Nominees, open to both men and women, must also show a commitment to improving the quality of life for others in the Lebanon Valley and actively assist women in reaching their full potential.

Nominations should highlight specific examples of the nominee’s support for women in business and professions, going beyond their daily job responsibilities. This could include initiatives, seminars, publications, or other activities. The Chamber will also consider the nominee’s accomplishments and involvement in their business, professional, and community endeavors.

The ATHENA International Award has been a Lebanon Valley tradition since 1990. Find more information about the award and access the nomination form online.
