A Lebanon County woman has been crowned All American Royal Queen 2025 after a pageant held last month in Ocean City, Maryland.
Deborah Hornick, who works as director of Lebanon & Lancaster counties for Big Brothers Big Sisters of South-Central PA, represented Pennsylvania in the Oct. 12 pageant.
“This achievement reflects not only her dedication to the world of pageantry, a passion she has pursued since age 16, but also her commitment to community leadership and service,” pageant officials said in a release.
“Known for her tireless work with veterans and military communities, she is an active volunteer with her local VA, supporting veterans across Pennsylvania, and serves with Operation We Care, the pageantโs national platform. Through this program, she helps pack and ship care packages for active military personnel overseas and for first responders here at home, ensuring they feel appreciated and remembered.”
Hornick also works with Alexโs Lemonade Stand Foundation, an organization based near Philadelphia that strives to end childhood cancer and supports children and their families who are undergoing treatment. She has volunteered with ALSF since 2012 and has helped raise over $1 million for the cause.
“Iโm honored to carry this title and look forward to using it as a platform to make a meaningful impact,” she said in the release. “My goal is to bring positive change, especially for our veterans, servicemen, and women, and to be a voice of empowerment for women across the nation.”
Hornick lives in Lebanon with her husband Chris Hornick, a daughter, and two stepchildren. A singer, she is known locally for performing the National Anthem, Christmas carols, and Broadway classics at local events and nursing homes.
She said in the release that she hopes to represent the pageant by traveling the country, engaging in initiatives that support military families and inspiring the next generation of leaders.
